Take 20 grams of ginger, 9 grams of peppercorns, and 10 red dates. Decoction in water, remove the residue, add appropriate amount of brown sugar and drink it warm. Take once a day before menstruation for 3 consecutive days. It can warm the meridians, dispel cold and relieve pain. It is suitable for dysmenorrhea caused by cold stagnation and qi stagnation, irregular menstruation, dark menstrual blood with clots, chills and cold limbs.

7. Hawthorn, cinnamon and brown sugar soup

15 grams of hawthorn meat, 5 grams of cinnamon twig, 30-50 grams of brown sugar. Put hawthorn pulp and cinnamon twigs into a clay pot, add 2 bowls of water, simmer over low heat until 1 bowl of water remains, then add brown sugar, mix well, and bring to a boil. It has the effects of warming the meridians, dredge blood vessels, remove blood stasis and relieve pain. Suitable for women suffering from cold dysmenorrhea and those with dull complexion.
