What are the symptoms of cervical adhesions? Let the experts tell you!

Once a woman suffers from cervical adhesions, she will experience many symptoms, the most obvious of which is irregular menstruation, followed by cervical pain. As the disease progresses, the pain will become more severe, and it may also lead to female infertility and other conditions.

1. Cervical pain and tenderness in the uterus: This symptom of uterine adhesion is mostly caused by women not grasping the best time for abortion. It is a complication after abortion. Endometrial tuberculosis, severe uterine cavity infection, myomectomy or cesarean section can damage the endometrium and cause uterine adhesion.

2. Menstrual irregularities: Some women will experience scanty menstruation or periodic abdominal pain after artificial abortion or cervical electrocautery. The more menstrual blood there is, the more obvious the abdominal pain will be. During gynecological examinations, symptoms of uterine adhesions such as tenderness and rebound pain will appear.

3. Cyclic abdominal pain: What are the symptoms of uterine adhesion? This is a common symptom of patients, which often occurs in women after abortion or curettage. In addition, obvious abdominal pain is a common symptom of women suffering from uterine adhesion, so once women have abdominal pain, they must seek medical attention as soon as possible.

4. Tenderness in the lower abdomen: In severe cases, rebound pain may occur, and the patient may even refuse to be pressed. This is a major symptom of uterine adhesion. Usually, a gynecological examination shows that the patient's uterus is normal in size or slightly larger and softer, but with obvious tenderness. What are the symptoms of uterine adhesion? During bilateral adnexal examinations, patients with severe uterine adhesions may experience tenderness or thickening, or a palpable mass.

5. Secondary infertility or recurrent miscarriage or premature birth. Due to intrauterine adhesion, the endometrium is damaged and the uterine volume is reduced, which affects the normal implantation of the embryo and leads to infertility. Even if conception occurs, it affects the embryo after implantation and the growth and development of the fetus, leading to miscarriage and premature birth.
