2. Early pregnancy

Abdominal pain around the fifth week of pregnancy is basically due to low progesterone. The main condition is intermittent pain in the lower abdomen, which may last for about one and a half months. If you experience dull pain similar to menstruation accompanied by chest pain, drowsiness, and decreased appetite, you can go to the hospital for a blood test. The results will basically say that your progesterone level is low, and you will be asked to take pregnancy-preserving drugs and progesterone, and go home to rest.

Lower abdominal pain that occurs around three months of pregnancy is mostly caused by the enlargement of the uterus. The uterus will experience irregular and painless contractions, which can be felt during abdominal examination. Sometimes the lower abdomen may feel hard, slightly swollen, and a feeling of heaviness. These contractions will not last too long, only a few seconds or ten seconds before disappearing. This usually happens several times a day. This is a normal phenomenon during pregnancy and does not require special treatment.
