What causes non-menstrual bleeding?

It is a normal physiological phenomenon for women to bleed during menstruation, but many female friends have reported that they often experience bleeding during non-menstrual periods, which makes them very distressed. In fact, it is abnormal for women to bleed during their menstrual period. Let us now understand the causes of non-menstrual bleeding in women!

1. If bleeding occurs more than a week after the menstrual period and within 20 days from the first day of the last menstrual period, it is usually ovulation bleeding. It may also be caused by staying up late, stress, mood swings, excessive dieting, or eating too much cold, spicy or greasy food. It usually lasts 1-7 days, and sometimes it is almost the same as the main period, so it is often misunderstood as two periods in a month. Try to eat light food during the bleeding period, let it take its course and wait for it to pass. However, if the bleeding lasts for more than 7 days and continues to be heavy, you should go to the hospital for a check-up as it may be functional uterine bleeding.

2. You bleed a little after each sexual intercourse, but the amount is not large and the color is bright red like blood. Usually, your leucorrhea increases and is like pus and even has a strange smell... If this happens to you... you may have cervical polyps or cervical erosion. So don't be careless, go to the hospital.

3. If you don’t take the contraceptive pill correctly, it will also cause the wrong kind of blood. It's not that there is something wrong with the medicine, or the doctor prescribed the wrong medicine, but that you are careless and did not strictly follow the order and rules prescribed by the doctor: if you take it once you remember, or take 3 or 4 tablets at a time when you are in a good mood, or take the same amount based on how much others take... If you have this casual habit, don't blame the wrong blood for coming to you. Choose the medicine that suits you and take it according to the doctor's instructions.

4. There is another situation... If you are already pregnant and the wrong blood comes again, it is very likely that you will have a miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. What are you waiting for? It is a matter of life and death! Go to the hospital immediately!

If you have read the above patiently, you must have experienced or suspected non-menstrual bleeding, right?

In fact, most non-menstrual bleeding can be avoided by maintaining healthy, hygienic living habits and a good attitude. So, do you understand the importance of this now?
