4. Iatrogenic factors (15%):

Including steroidal contraceptives and intrauterine devices that interfere with the normal function of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. Certain drugs for systemic diseases (especially psychiatric and nervous systems) can affect normal menstrual function through neuroendocrine mechanisms.
