How to clean the vagina? This is the correct way to clean

Vaginal cleaning and care are particularly important for women's health. Nowadays, women's health awareness has improved, and they have developed the habit of cleaning their genitals regularly. However, many women do not know how to clean the vagina to prevent diseases. Next, let's take a look at how to clean the vagina correctly.

The correct way to clean your vagina

In fact, for healthy women (i.e. those without genital tract inflammation), vaginal cleaning only requires clearing away the sweat, sebum, vaginal fluid, urine and feces accumulated on the surface of the vulva skin. There is no need to make a big fuss. The principle of vaginal cleanliness should be: maintain the natural defense line of the female reproductive tract, do not destroy the ecological balance in the vagina, and prevent external pathogens from entering the vagina. Generally speaking, the following points should be noted:

(1) Prepare your own special washing basin and towel. The cleaning basin should be cleaned before use, or it is better to take a shower. The towel should be dried in the sun or in a ventilated place after use, because towels are not exposed to sunlight for a long time and are prone to breed bacteria and fungi.

(2) Gently wash the vulva with warm water every night. When soap must be used, choose a less irritating baby bath soap.

(3) After defecation, develop the habit of wiping from front to back with toilet paper and washing or flushing the anus with warm water. If it is not wiped clean, fecal stains will remain at the anus and contaminate the underwear. The intestinal bacteria contained in the feces stains will take the opportunity to enter the vagina and cause inflammation.

(4) During menstruation, wash the vulva frequently with warm water and change sanitary napkins frequently to prevent blood stains from becoming a breeding ground for bacteria. It is best to heat the entire pack of sanitary napkins in a microwave for 1 to 2 minutes to disinfect and sterilize them.

(5) Do not use sanitary pads on a regular basis to avoid increasing friction and irritating the vulvar skin, which may lead to local accumulation of moisture and heat and cause vulvar inflammation.
