Women must know: Vaginal bleeding is like this

In addition to normal menstrual bleeding, many people now also have vaginal bleeding problems. This is a common gynecological disease. There are many reasons for vaginal bleeding. It must be treated in time, otherwise it will cause great harm to women. So what exactly is causing vaginal bleeding?

The main causes of vaginal bleeding are:

1. Common ones include miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease, partial placental retention, incomplete uterine involution, etc.

2. Ovarian endocrine dysfunction: including anovulatory dysfunctional uterine bleeding and ovulatory menstrual disorders.

3. Ovarian tumors, vaginal cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, uterine sarcoma, choriocarcinoma, etc.

4. Genital inflammation: such as vulvar ulcers, vaginitis, acute cervicitis, cervical polyps, etc.

5. Vaginal bleeding related to systemic diseases: thrombocytopenic purpura, aplastic anemia, leukemia, etc.

6. Injury, foreign bodies and exogenous sex hormones: Reproductive tract trauma such as vulva and vaginal straddle injuries, hymen bleeding or vaginal injury caused by sexual intercourse, placement of intrauterine contraceptive ring, improper use of estrogen or progesterone.

What to do if you have vaginal bleeding:

1. When bleeding occurs, let the patient lie down and rest quietly. If your body temperature drops, you can use an electric blanket to keep your whole body warm. If you appear pale, sweat, and have a rapid pulse, these are signs of shock - you should elevate your feet and rest quietly.

2. If there is a small amount of bleeding, pay attention to the patient's mental state, count the pulse, and let the patient rest in bed. Those with pale complexion and sweating should lower their heads, raise their feet, drink some light salt water, and keep warm but not overheat. Take some sedatives or hemostatic drugs at the same time. Wait until your condition stabilizes before going to the hospital.

3. You can also put a cold water bag or ice bag on the lower abdomen to stop the bleeding. When you feel nauseous, you should turn your face to one side to prevent suffocation. Vaginal bleeding in women can be caused by a variety of reasons, but if you encounter dysfunctional uterine bleeding, vaginal bleeding during pregnancy, etc., you should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible.

4. In case of severe bleeding, you should pad the genitals with absorbent cotton and wrap the T-belt tightly. If there is a small amount of bleeding, you can just use a sanitary napkin to cover it. If the reproductive organs discharge abnormal secretions (blood clots or flesh pieces, etc.), they should be placed in a plastic bag for examination by a doctor. It is best not to let the patient see the discharge so as not to scare the patient.
