How to use catheter tampons

How to use catheter tampons

Not everyone knows how to use tampons correctly, so some women feel at a loss when they first come into contact with tampons during their menstrual period, and don’t know how to use them correctly. Faced with such a distressing problem, let us introduce in detail the methods and steps for using catheter tampons.

1. Please wash your hands carefully before use and tear open the independent packaging

2. Choose a posture that you feel comfortable and natural

3. Take a deep breath and gently spread your labia with one hand. With the other hand, pinch the thread-shaped mark of the catheter with your middle finger and thumb and gently push the catheter into the body until it reaches the thread mark. Push the inner tube of the catheter, just like an injection, to push the absorbent into the body, take out the paper catheter, and let the pull-out line hang outside the body.

4. When the tampon is pushed into the appropriate position in the body, you will not feel its presence. If you feel any pressure or discomfort after inserting the tampon, it is because the tampon is not positioned properly inside the body. At this point, you can take a deep breath and gently push the tampon back in, or take it out and replace it with another one.

5. Gently pull the thread outwards and you will know if it is time to change the tampon. If the tampon does not move when you pull it out, it means that the tampon is not saturated and does not need to be replaced.

6. Gently pull the thread outwards at the same angle as when pushing it in to remove the tampon.

If you can use tampons according to the methods and steps introduced above, it will of course be safer and healthier. At the same time, I also hope that female friends will not force themselves. If you are more familiar with the use of sanitary napkins, there is actually no need to use tampons. You can decide based on your own situation.
