The surface of the outer tube is smooth and the front end is rounded for easy insertion. The front end of the outer tube has a petal-shaped opening. The function of the inner tube is to push the sanitary tampon out of the valve-shaped opening of the outer tube in a piston-like propulsion manner.

Tampon labeling method: Two water drops indicate an absorbency between 6 and 9 grams. Like sanitary napkins, tampons also have different absorbencies. Since the absorbency of tampons is believed to be related to toxic shock syndrome in women, after 1988, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearly defined the standard for the suction capacity of tampons.
