What are the effects of vasectomy on women's bodies?

Female sterilization is a means of contraception. It was most common in my country during the 1990s when family planning was vigorously implemented. However, improper care after female sterilization can easily cause great harm to their bodies. Currently, sterilization is no longer popular, which is also related to its own impact. So at this time we should understand some precautions after ligation.

1. Irregular menstruation

Many women have normal menstruation before having tubal ligation. However, after tubal ligation, menstrual cycle disorders, excessive or insufficient menstrual flow, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, and oligomenorrhea occur, which is called menstrual disorder after tubal ligation.

2. Irregular bleeding between periods

This is due to the rupture of the follicle and the fluctuation of estrogen, which cannot maintain the growth of the endometrium, causing local ulceration and shedding of the surface layer of the endometrium, resulting in a small amount of breakthrough bleeding. This is the phenomenon of ovulation bleeding. After ovulation, the follicle quickly turns into a corpus luteum, which can secrete a certain amount of estrogen and progesterone, which can quickly repair the ruptured endometrium, and the bleeding will stop automatically. Therefore, the amount of bleeding during ovulation is generally very small, and it will stop automatically after a few hours or days. No treatment is required.

3. Emotional instability

Women will experience the following emotional changes after tubal ligation: tension and anxiety, irritability and frequent temper tantrums, and memory loss. There is a pessimistic and melancholic mood, manifested as depressed thoughts, silence, low mood, accompanied by poor appetite, weight loss, decreased libido, increased heart rate and other symptoms.

It is recommended that women try not to do sterilization because it will cause various discomforts. There are many methods of contraception nowadays, such as condoms, IUDs, birth control pills, etc. The success rate of contraception is very high, and the harm they bring to people is also very small. They are suitable for women of any age.
