If a female friend has urethral bleeding after giving birth, it means that she is very likely suffering from asthma or urinary tract infection. This disease is a common complication after female childbirth, and its incidence rate is much higher than that of urinary tract infection in normal people. In addition, if the urinary tract infection is more severe after a woman gives birth, the irritation to the urinary tract will be more severe, and the infection may even spread further to the renal pelvis and ureter, possibly causing ureteral or bladder inflammation. Let's take a look at what causes postpartum urinary tract bleeding and infection. More than 95% are caused by a single bacterium. Gram-negative Enterobacteriaceae are the main pathogens, among which Escherichia coli is the most common. The pathogen is about 90% of outpatients and 50% of inpatients. Escherichia coli is common in asymptomatic bacteriuria, uncomplicated postpartum urinary tract infection and primary postpartum urinary tract infection. Klebsiella, Pseudomonas and Proteus infections are common in recurrent postpartum urinary tract infection. Nearly 10%-15% of postpartum urinary tract infections can also be caused by Gram-positive bacteria, mainly Staphylococcus and Enterococcus faecalis. Among them, saprophytic Staphylococcus is an important cause of acute postpartum urinary tract infection in women (especially young women). A survey of female college students with symptomatic postpartum urinary tract infection found that its infection rate is second only to Escherichia coli. Fungal infections (mainly Candida species) often occur in patients with indwelling catheter-treated diabetes who are receiving broad-spectrum antibiotics or immunosuppressants. Certain viral infections can affect the urinary tract and are often clinically asymptomatic, but adenovirus type II infection can cause acute hemorrhagic cystitis in school-age children. Mycoplasma infection is rare but can cause acute urethral syndrome. Mixed infection with multiple pathogens is only seen in patients with long-term urinary catheterization, urethral foreign bodies (stones or tumors), urinary retention with repeated instrumental examinations, and urethro-vaginal (intestinal) fistulas. Through the above introduction, friends have discovered that postpartum urethral bleeding infection is actually caused by some bacteria, so you must pay attention to hygiene after delivery, do not wear unclean underwear, and develop a habit of cleanliness. Try to clean your lower body with warm water every day, change your underwear frequently, pay attention to supplement nutrition, and exercise more. |
