Can I drink coffee if I have uterine fibroids?

Most patients do not have any symptoms when they first develop uterine fibroids. As the disease progresses, patients will gradually feel some bleeding in their vagina, and even feel that their menstruation has become very irregular. Their mental state is not as good as before, and they will gradually feel very sleepy. Zhengzhou employees and relatives share some common symptoms. If these symptoms appear, it means that you have uterine fibroids.

Coffee has the function of lowering insulin and regulating the activity of female hormones, thus reducing the risk of uterine cancer. However, if you already have uterine fibroids, you should stay away from coffee because coffee will lower estrogen and is not conducive to treatment.

Drinking a small amount will not cause any harm, but it should not be too much.

According to surveys, if women who are trying to have children consume too much coffee every day, it is easy to reduce the chance of pregnancy in the future. Hospital experts said: Coffee contains a lot of caffeine. If women consume too much caffeine, it is easy to directly lead to a decrease in estrogen secretion, and the estrogen level in the body will directly decrease, which will have an adverse effect on the ovulation function of the ovaries, thereby greatly reducing the chance of conception.

Patients with uterine fibroids should not eat the following foods:

1. Avoid eating foods that are hot, coagulant, or contain hormones, such as longan, red dates, donkey-hide gelatin, and royal jelly.

2. Avoid spicy foods and drinks such as chili peppers, peppercorns, raw onions, raw garlic, and white wine.

3. The diet should be light and avoid eating irritating foods such as mutton, shrimp, crab, eel, salted fish, and black fish.

Patients with uterine fibroids should actively use contraception. Artificial abortion can seriously damage the uterus and increase the risk of women developing uterine fibroids. Therefore, in life, we must take good preventive measures to reduce the number of abortions, because too many miscarriages will bring certain harm to the patient's uterine repair, stimulate the normal repair of the uterus, and easily lead to the onset of uterine fibroids.

It is best for patients with uterine fibroids not to drink coffee. Even if they want to drink coffee, they can only drink a small amount. If they drink too much, the ingredients in the coffee will lower their estrogen, which is very bad for treatment, because it will cause the physiological system inside our body to become somewhat disordered. Even red dates cannot be eaten frequently.
