Generally, for the first pregnancy, it takes one or two days for the cervix to loosen and efface, and delivery will occur about three or four days after loosening. There is no exact time for this. If you have abdominal pain or spotting during pregnancy, you should go to the hospital for examination immediately. If the baby's fetal movement is good, you can wait patiently. After the cervical canal recedes, the speed of the baby's birth is related to the contraction of the uterus. If the uterus contracts regularly and the cervical opening dilates completely, the baby will be born in about 15 hours. The erosion of the cervical canal can only be understood by a doctor through examination. If a pregnant woman feels that the baby is about to be born, she can go to the doctor for examination.
