How to use tampons

Most tampons are cylindrical and have excellent water absorption properties. Women can use tampons to absorb menstrual blood during their menstrual period, replacing traditional sanitary napkins. The main materials of tampons are artificial fibers and other mixed materials. Tampons produced through strict quality control will not cause harm to our skin. When purchasing, be sure to choose products produced by regular manufacturers.

An internal tampon is a sanitary napkin placed inside the vagina to absorb menstrual blood directly inside the body. It is made of a tightly compressed piece of safe and hygienic pure white cotton wool with extremely strong absorption capacity. Once it comes into contact with menstrual blood, it will quickly and evenly expand radially in all directions, gently clinging to the vaginal wall, and can absorb all menstrual blood inside the body. Therefore, it can prevent leakage and keep the outside of the body clean and dry.

What is the correct way to use it? First, read the instructions carefully before use and insert the tampon according to the steps prompted; secondly, choose a tampon of appropriate specifications according to the amount of menstruation. The principle is to choose the smallest size that can fully absorb the menstrual blood. At the same time, pay attention to reasonable adjustments according to the changes in the amount of menstruation. When replacing it, if you find that the tampon is dry and difficult to pull out, switch to one with a smaller absorption capacity; thirdly, tampons and sanitary napkins should be used alternately during menstruation, and tampons should not be used during the non-menstrual period.

Considering that during menstruation, the endometrium is shed, menstrual blood is discharged, and the cervix opens, the last of the three barriers is destroyed, making it easy for bacteria to invade. In addition, menstrual blood is discharged from the vagina, which changes the environment inside the vagina and weakens the self-cleaning function. The possibility of infection is higher than usual. Tampons are internal, so make sure they are contaminated. Wash your hands before and after using a tampon. Contaminated tampons should not be used again. They should be replaced every 4-8 hours.

The above introduces how to use tampons as well as some advantages and precautions. I would also like to mention here that tampons are very popular in Europe and the United States, but Asians don’t like them very much. However, as people’s mindsets gradually open up, tampons are becoming more and more popular. The correct use of tampons will bring more convenience to women during menstruation.
