Cervical fibroids are relatively rare, mostly occurring on the posterior lip of the cervix, but can also occur on the anterior lip or lateral side. Clinical symptoms of cervical uterine fibroids:

The key points are irregular menstruation, increased menstrual volume, excessive leucorrhea or bladder and rectal symptoms. Some patients have no symptoms. Gynecological examinations may reveal prominent uterine fibroid masses in the cervix or changes in the shape of the cervix. The cervix on one side of the uterine fibroid is enlarged, while the other side is compressed and softened, and the external cervical opening stretches and becomes a peach shape.

Self-examination of cervical uterine fibroids:

1. Lower abdominal pain

Pain in the lower abdomen, back, or sacrum should be paid attention to. Because sometimes, the pain is the exposure of the tumor itself. The tumor is compressed and stretched, causing the pedicle to twist, rupture or transformation, etc., which can cause lower abdominal pain.

2. Watch out for abnormal bleeding

If there is a cervical or uterine disease, such as uterine fibroids or cervical erosion, there will often be increased menstruation, postmenopausal bleeding or irregular bleeding. Therefore, if there is bleeding other than normal menstruation, the cause must be known and checked in time for treatment.

3. Observe the secretions

Normal leucorrhea is a small amount of slightly sticky, translucent, egg white-like secretion, which is more common four or five days before and after ovulation. It has no odor and changes slightly with the menstrual cycle. However, if there is abnormal secretion, pus-like, stubborn, brown leucorrhea are all abnormal. Generally, abnormal secretions are accompanied by a foul odor and are relatively easy to detect. Many gynecological diseases cause abnormal secretions. If a woman has abnormal secretions, do not ignore it and go to the hospital for examination and medical treatment immediately.
