Signs of breast cancer metastasis

In modern society, the number of women suffering from breast cancer is increasing. Signs that breast cancer has metastasized include:

1. Lung metastasis: Most of the early stage have no obvious symptoms. Only single or multiple nodule shadows will be found in the X-ray after the scan, and they are more common in both lungs. Symptoms such as chest pain, dry cough, and hemoptysis only appear in the late stage of metastasis, and sometimes pleural effusion may occur.

2. Bone metastasis: Bone metastasis of breast cancer is usually multiple metastasis. Various types of bone metastasis can cause pain in patients, such as bone pain, local tenderness, decreased mobility and other symptoms. Bone metastasis at the skull base may even compress the cranial nerves within the skull and cause corresponding sensory abnormalities and paralysis.

3. Pleural effusion and ascites: Malignant body cavity effusion is also very common in breast cancer patients. It will not only seriously affect the quality of life of the patient, but also may cause misfortune to the patient in a very short period of time.

4. Liver metastasis: more common in patients in the late stage. When patients experience symptoms such as liver pain, liver enlargement, liver dysfunction, jaundice, ascites, etc., they often have systemic metastasis.

5. Brain metastasis: often accompanied by severe headache, followed by nausea, vomiting, behavioral changes and abnormal mental activity.
