Gynecological cysts generally refer to cervical cysts, which are not serious diseases, but are relatively common gynecological diseases. They are mainly caused by long-term irritation of cervical inflammation and are growths caused by local hyperplasia. In this case, cervical cyst resection surgery can be performed if there is no sexual intercourse for 3 to 7 days after the menstrual period, and the resected material can be sent for pathological examination. After the operation, maintain daily cleaning of the private skin, wash the vulva with warm water 2 to 3 times a day, do not blindly use drugs on your own, you can take oral anti-inflammatory drugs for 2 to 3 days under the guidance of a doctor to prevent bacterial infection. Cervical cysts are recurrent and require a gynecological examination every year. It is also recommended that married women undergo a cervical cancer screening once a year.

What are the main symptoms of cervical polyps?

1. Vaginal bleeding

Vaginal bleeding caused by cervical cysts is mainly spot bleeding, and the color of the blood is not dark red, but mainly red. Some people's bleeding is similar to menstruation, so it is very, very easy to confuse it with menstruation. Vaginal bleeding from cervical cysts can also occur in postmenopausal women, so women in menopause may mistakenly think it is the return of menstruation. Of course, some patients will bleed during sexual intercourse.

2. Abnormal leucorrhea

If a female friend has a cervical cyst, it may cause abnormal vaginal discharge, such as yellowish discharge and a foul odor. Some women may also notice blood in their discharge.

3. Lumps found in the uterus and vulva

This lump can occur alone or in groups, most of which are gray-red and have a shiny surface. However, the volume is generally not large. The minimum diameter is only 1~2mm. However, these lumps should not be underestimated. When they are multiple, they can cover the entire uterine cavity.
