Why is the leucorrhea abnormally yellow?

Leucorrhea is a barometer of women’s health. If it is abnormally yellow, it is an abnormal condition and is mostly caused by infection. Abnormal yellow leucorrhea is mostly caused by bacterial, fungal or Trichomonas vaginitis. In addition, cervicitis, endometritis and other gynecological diseases can also cause yellow leucorrhea. Experts point out that in the absence of a clear and specific cause, it is recommended to go to the hospital for a routine leucorrhea examination. It is best not to use medications indiscriminately, as not only will it not cure the disease, it may also have major side effects. You must go to a regular hospital for systematic treatment.

Why is the leucorrhea abnormally yellow?

(1) Trichomonas vaginalis infection. This infection can easily cause an increase in vaginal discharge, accompanied by a foul odor, and itching of the genitals. It is generally believed that this infection is a sexually transmitted disease that can be easily transmitted between sexual partners.

(2) Fungal infection causes increased leucorrhea. Fungal infection is common in young girls, pregnant women, and diabetic patients. The clinical manifestations are excessive leucorrhea, burning and itching of the vulva and vagina, and exogenous dysuria. The typical leucorrhea is curd-like or flaky.

Female friends should carefully observe the color, taste, amount and shape of their leucorrhea. Once any abnormality is found, they should go to the hospital to consult a doctor as soon as possible to assist the doctor in diagnosing the cause and providing targeted treatment. Do not use gynecological wash frequently to avoid disrupting the acid-base balance in the vagina and facilitating the invasion of bacteria. Eat more nutritious food to enhance your body's resistance.
