How to treat foul-smelling yellow leucorrhea

Yellow leucorrhea with a foul odor is a symptom experienced by many women. It is mainly caused by infection, such as gynecological inflammation such as Trichomonas vaginitis, bacterial vaginitis, candidal vaginitis, etc. The specific type of inflammation can only be confirmed after examination in the hospital. Many women think that gynecological diseases are very private matters and are unwilling to go to the hospital for treatment and take medicine on their own. In fact, this is very wrong. Without confirming which type of vaginitis you have, indiscriminate use of medicine cannot cure the disease. Instead, it will cause the condition to worsen and recur infection, resulting in more serious consequences. Therefore, female friends who are sick must actively go to the hospital for treatment.

Drug therapy

(1) Trichomonas vaginitis Trichomonas exist in the glands of the folds and cervix, as well as in the urethra and intestines, so it should be treated both internally and externally. ① Oral anti-trichomoniasis drugs. After taking the medicine, test for Trichomonas. If the result is negative, the patient should continue treatment for one course after the next menstruation to consolidate the therapeutic effect. ②Simultaneous local treatment.

(2) For candidal vaginitis, you can use baking soda solution to wash the vulva and vagina or take a sitz bath. After gently drying, place a nystatin suppository deep in the vagina, or apply nystatin cream to the vaginal wall, once every night or once in the morning and evening for a total of 10 to 14 days.

(3) Metronidazole can be taken orally as an option for nonspecific vaginitis. It can also be treated with local medication.

(4) Senile vaginitis can be treated with local vaginal medication. Increase vaginal acidity. For patients with more severe inflammation, estrogen therapy is used as an adjunct.

Vaginitis will not heal without treatment. You must use the medication in a standardized manner under the doctor's instructions. Vaginitis is generally accompanied by symptoms of genital itching. Many patients think that if the itching stops, the inflammation will also disappear. This is a very wrong concept. Vaginitis requires a certain course of treatment. You must persist in taking medication and have regular check-ups to determine whether it is cured. It is best for couples to treat vaginitis together to avoid repeated cross infection.
