Who is not suitable for pregnancy?

Most women want their own baby. As a woman, only when she has her own baby can she be considered a complete woman. However, some women do not understand why they cannot get pregnant, or they get pregnant but cannot keep the baby or the baby is unhealthy. In fact, this is what we mean by who we need to pay attention to and who is not suitable for pregnancy. Let me talk about it below.

If women of childbearing age have problems such as diabetes, hypertension, anemia, etc., it may affect the health of the fetus and future baby. Heart and hepatitis, hyperthyroidism, diabetes and kidney disease, and hypertension must be treated and controlled before pregnancy. Otherwise, not only may the condition worsen during pregnancy, it may also affect the health of the fetus and even the newborn. Therefore, women who are preparing to become pregnant must be wary of the following types of diseases.

8 types of women must cure their diseases before getting pregnant

1. Anemia. If women with anemia do not receive timely treatment, they may suffer from malnutrition after pregnancy, which will aggravate the anemia and even increase the risk of intrauterine growth retardation, premature birth or stillbirth. For pregnant women, it may also cause anemic heart and heart failure, postpartum hemorrhage, postpartum infection, etc. Therefore, women with anemia are advised to wait until the anemia is cured before getting pregnant.

2. Heart disease. If a woman has heart disease before pregnancy and does not receive timely and effective treatment, she is likely to suffer from heart failure, which may lead to miscarriage, premature birth, placental insufficiency, etc.

3. Liver disease. If a pregnant woman has liver disease, it may be passed on to the baby. Therefore, women with liver disease should make sure that their condition has been controlled and stabilized before becoming pregnant, and must not become pregnant during the infectious period of liver disease. After pregnancy, you should follow your doctor's advice to get the hepatitis vaccine to block the possibility of transmission to the baby.

4. Kidney disease. If a woman with kidney disease becomes pregnant, not only may she suffer from pregnancy-induced hypertension, but it is also not conducive to the development of the fetus, and may cause fetal growth retardation, and in severe cases may cause miscarriage, premature birth, etc. Pregnant women may also suffer from renal failure and uremia.

5. Hypertension. Pregnant women with high blood pressure are more likely to develop pregnancy-induced hypertension.

6. Diabetes. Women with diabetes are very likely to develop gestational diabetes after pregnancy. If it is not well controlled, it may lead to miscarriage, premature birth, or even macrosomia.

7. Tuberculosis. If a pregnant woman has infectious tuberculosis, it may cause miscarriage or premature birth. If you take anti-tuberculosis drugs during pregnancy, it will inevitably affect the development of the fetus.

8. Sexually transmitted diseases. If a woman becomes pregnant while having an uncured sexually transmitted disease, it can cause fetal growth retardation and can also be transmitted vertically to the baby. Most STDs can be cured with proper treatment.

Several situations that are not suitable for conception

1. Conception soon after ectopic pregnancy

Ectopic pregnancy is very serious when it occurs, but many people can still conceive with timely and effective treatment. However, some women are eager to have children and often become pregnant again soon after recovery. Little do people know that this practice is very dangerous because the fallopian tubes may not be completely unblocked. Data show that the recurrence rate of ectopic pregnancy is about 15%.

2. Pregnancy soon after cesarean section

Some women had a cesarean section for their first child for various reasons. If the child does not survive, some of them will become pregnant again soon, which is very bad for their health. Because the amount of blood loss during cesarean section is greater than that during normal delivery, and all organs need to be repaired after delivery. Therefore, it takes a certain amount of time for both the uterine incision and the abdominal incision to heal fully after a cesarean section.

3. Pregnancy shortly after stopping birth control pills

It is currently believed that if conception occurs too soon after stopping birth control pills, there is a possibility of producing a deformed baby. Because oral contraceptives are hormonal drugs, their effects are many times stronger than natural sex hormones. For example, in the No. 1 short-acting contraceptive, the physiological effect of ethinyl estradiol contained in it is 10-20 times that of diethylstilbestrol produced in the body; the physiological effect of norethindrone contained in it is 4-8 times that of progesterone produced in the body.

In order to reduce the harm of the above diseases to the health of pregnant women, fetuses and even future babies, experts recommend that women who are planning to become pregnant must first undergo a physical examination. If they have any disease, they must seek timely treatment and listen to the doctor's advice. For example, if the blood sugar-lowering drugs in the treatment of diabetes are replaced with insulin, the possibility of drugs causing fetal malformations can be avoided.
