What are the symptoms of a cold uterus?

Someone said that nine out of ten girls have coldness, which actually means a cold uterus. It is true. If female friends often eat frozen food, it is easy to cause a cold uterus. But perhaps many people don’t know whether they belong to this category. If you want to know whether you have a cold uterus, it is also very simple. Let’s take a look at the symptoms of a cold uterus.

Abdominal distension, heaviness, increased leucorrhea, and lower back pain or discomfort before menstruation. Swelling and pain in both breasts, chest distension, and in some cases, nausea and vomiting are very similar to the reactions of pregnancy. Abdominal pain during menstruation, dark menstrual blood with blood clots. For some patients, dysmenorrhea reaches an unbearable level. Some people feel a cold lower abdomen and cold whole body.

In another case of "uterine cold", menstruation gradually recedes, the amount of menstruation becomes less and less, and finally menstruation stops completely. The above symptoms disappeared instead. The patient is suffering from weight gain, shortness of breath and fatigue, and edema of the lower limbs or the whole body. There are even various symptoms such as insomnia, nightmares, headaches, dizziness, etc. (what Western medicine calls pelvic inflammatory adhesions, fallopian tube adhesion inflammation and blockage, ovarian dysfunction, ovarian hypoplasia, follicular hypoplasia, egg hypoplasia, ovulation disorders, etc., and some patients are found to have no symptoms after Western medical examinations).

"Cold uterus" does not refer to a single symptom, but is a summary of various clinical symptoms of patients in traditional Chinese medicine. For example: delayed menstrual cycle, scanty and dark menstrual flow, blood clots, or even amenorrhea; lower abdominal pain before or during menstruation, which can be relieved by hot compress; leucorrhea that is clear and profuse; severe cases can cause infertility, or fetal developmental retardation after pregnancy, etc.

High-risk population

There are many clinical causes of "uterine cold". On the one hand, it is related to physical constitution. For example, those friends who are afraid of cold and have cold hands and feet on weekdays are prone to "uterine cold" due to insufficient "yang energy" in the body. On the other hand, lifestyle habits can also cause "uterine cold". Some female friends particularly like to eat cold drinks, or in order to be cool, they set the air conditioner temperature too low, or in order to be beautiful, they also wear thin clothes in winter. These habits are easy to cause "uterine cold" due to the invasion of cold evil spirits.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that uterine cold is related to kidney deficiency, spleen deficiency, blood deficiency, liver depression, phlegm, dampness, heat, and blood stasis. Western medicine believes that such symptoms are more related to age factors, nutritional factors, mental factors, endocrine factors (hypothalamus, thyroid, adrenal glands, pancreas), developmental factors, inflammation, tumors, etc. If you want to get pregnant with uterine cold, you should start from two aspects. First, you should be careful not to eat too much raw, cold or cool food, pay attention to seasonal changes, and keep warm. Second, you can take Chinese herbal medicine to warm the yang and transform the qi, strengthen the body and increase essence, and regulate the Chong and Ren meridians.

Only after knowing the symptoms of a cold uterus can female friends better judge whether they have a cold uterus. I believe that after the above introduction, everyone should have their own understanding of this phenomenon. So if you find that you have symptoms of a cold uterus, you must adjust it quickly.
