What should I do if there are small itchy bumps on my labia?

Female friends often suffer from some gynecological diseases. For example, some women feel that their leucorrhea is abnormal and their vulva is very itchy. In severe cases, it feels like being scratched by a hundred claws, which makes people very uncomfortable. At this time, if you look at yourself in the mirror or touch it with your hands, you will feel some small bumps on your labia. In this case, you may have vaginitis. So, how should this disease be treated?

Trichomonas vaginitis:

Systemic medication: Trichomonas vaginitis is often accompanied by Trichomonas infection in the urogenital system and intestines. It is not easy to completely eliminate Trichomonas by simple local medication, so systemic medication should be used. Metronidazole tablets are well absorbed orally, have good effects and low toxicity, and can be taken together for 7 days. The husband or sexual partner needs to be treated at the same time. You can take tinidazole tablets, which are more effective than metronidazole and have fewer side effects such as gastrointestinal tract effects.

Topical medication: Topical medication is also effective, but slightly less effective than oral administration. Metronidazole tablets are inserted into the vagina once every night for 7-10 days. The medication should be continued for 3 cycles.

Vulvovaginal candidiasis:

Remove the causes: stop using antibiotics and estrogen, and actively treat diabetes.

Topical medication: Miconazole soft capsule vaginally administered once every night for 3 days or clotrimazole suppository once every night for 7 days.

Systemic medication: Suitable for unmarried women without sex life, those who are inconvenient to use local medication when going out, and those who are about to have their menstrual period. Take fluconazole tablets one time for 3 consecutive days.

Bacterial vaginosis:

Systemic medication: Metronidazole tablets taken orally twice a day for 7 days, with an effective rate of 98.8%; clindamycin taken twice a day for 7 days, with an effective rate of 94%.

Topical medication: Metronidazole tablets are placed in the vagina for 7 days, and clindamycin ointment is applied to the vagina for 7 days. The efficacy is slightly worse than oral administration.

Vaginitis is divided into many types, including Trichomonas vaginitis, candidal vaginitis, bacterial vaginitis, etc. Therefore, if you want to cure vaginitis faster, you must first determine which type of vaginitis you have, and then treat it symptomatically. Pay attention to the hygiene of the vulva at ordinary times. Wash it frequently with warm water and change underwear frequently. It is best to scald the underwear with boiling water and expose it to the sun for disinfection.
