Cervical cyst is a common gynecological disease in women. Now more and more women are suffering from cervical cyst. Most patients suffer from cervicitis and do not receive timely professional treatment, which leads to the gradual deterioration of the disease. For such cystic diseases, the first reaction of patients is to go to the hospital for surgery to cut it off. Does cervical cyst require surgical treatment?

Cervical cyst is a kind of chronic lesion of cervicitis. Most of them have no obvious symptoms. The main manifestation of cervicitis is increased vaginal discharge. Due to different pathogens, the color, amount, and properties of vaginal discharge are also different. Leucorrhea may be sticky and purulent, and in some cases may contain streaks of blood or a small amount of blood. In very rare cases, there may also be contact bleeding. If accompanied by pelvic inflammatory disease, lower abdominal or lumbar pain, or dysmenorrhea may occur.

If there are no symptoms, you can observe and do regular cervical scraping; or puncture the cervix with a needle and apply iodine; if accompanied by inflammation, treat the inflammation accordingly; physical therapy such as microwave, laser, freezing, electric ironing, etc. can also be used. If there are no other associated conditions, colposcopy or LEEP treatments are generally not recommended. It can also be treated with external Chinese medicine.

Implement family planning, take contraceptive measures, and try to avoid mechanical damage to the cervix caused by multiple abortions. At the same time, gynecological surgical operations must be performed strictly aseptically to prevent iatrogenic infection and injury. Avoid damaging the cervix during delivery. If cervical laceration is found, it should be sutured promptly and antibiotics should be used appropriately.

Pay attention to hygiene during menstruation, miscarriage and postpartum period. Sexual intercourse and bathing in a tub should be strictly prohibited during menstruation and after delivery to prevent pathogens from taking advantage of the opportunity to enter. Have regular gynecological examinations and give active treatment if cervicitis is found. Sexual intercourse should be prohibited during the treatment of cervicitis. Stop applying topical medication during menstruation.

Generally speaking, women with cervical cysts will have many complications, which need to be treated in a timely manner. If the condition is serious, it is best to go to the hospital for a gynecological examination every six months. If there are still other symptoms, you should go once a month. You should also pay attention to preventive measures, pay attention to vaginal cleanliness and hygiene, and avoid sexual intercourse.
