What are the pregnancy test items?

Women who are currently pregnant pay more attention to prenatal examinations, with the aim of ensuring good eugenics and giving birth to healthy babies. Pregnant women have to undergo a lot of examinations from the early stages of pregnancy to the final delivery, hoping to find some problems through some examinations. Of course, it would be best if there are no problems, but if there are any problems, they must be solved in time. What are the items in prenatal examination? The following content is for your reference.

Pregnancy check-ups are mainly divided into three stages: early pregnancy, mid-pregnancy and late pregnancy, and different examination items are involved in these three stages.

In the early stages of pregnancy, that is, from the 1st to the 12th week of pregnancy, the main procedures include: ① B-ultrasound examination, which can rule out ectopic pregnancy, observe the development of the fetus, and measure the size of the fetus; ② Check for pathogens that cause intrauterine infection, mainly to see whether the baby has been infected with rubella virus, cytomegalovirus, Toxoplasma, herpes simplex virus, etc.; ③ Screening for hepatitis virus, which can cut off mother-to-child transmission of the virus as early as possible; ④ Routine blood and urine examination to check for anemia, blood diseases, and urinary system diseases.

In the second trimester, which is from the 13th to the 27th week of pregnancy, the main things to do are: ① A color B-ultrasound examination is performed around the 22nd week of pregnancy to fully understand the development of the fetus in the uterus and rule out fetal malformations; ② A sugar screening is performed at 24-28 weeks of pregnancy. If the screening is positive, a further glucose tolerance test is performed to detect pregnancy complicated with diabetes as early as possible and whether the patient has gestational diabetes; ③ MP determination should be performed at 20 weeks of pregnancy to predict whether there is a tendency for pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome; ④ Down syndrome (congenital idiocy) screening is performed at 16-20 weeks of pregnancy.

In the third trimester, that is, from the 28th week of pregnancy to delivery, the main things to do are: ① fetal monitoring with a fetal monitor starting from the 32nd week, preferably once a week, which can observe and record the dynamic changes of the fetal heart rate and predict the fetal intrauterine reserve capacity; ② umbilical cord blood flow examination, which can detect the resistance of the fetal umbilical cord blood flow and understand whether there is intrauterine hypoxia; ③ B-ultrasound examination, which can understand the maturity of the placenta, the amount of amniotic fluid and the growth and development of the fetus; ④ blood type, four coagulation tests, renal function, and liver function tests at 36 weeks, which are preparations for delivery.

The above article mainly tells you about the prenatal check-up items for pregnant women at different stages. Prenatal check-up is a more important part of a woman’s pregnancy. I hope that pregnant mothers must have a correct understanding of it. In addition to checking the health status of the pregnant woman herself, it is also necessary to check whether there are any high-risk factors for delivery, which can reduce the birth defect rate of newborns.
