What are the causes of irregular menstruation in middle-aged women?

After middle-aged women enter menopause, their various physiological functions decline, including the degeneration of their reproductive organs. Therefore, during this period, the most obvious change is reflected in the menstrual period. The menstrual period may become irregular and irregular, which means that menopause is approaching. But why do women have irregular menstruation? Is there any specific reason?

1. Difficulty in blood clotting: For example, people who lack platelets or have leukemia will have coagulation disorders, which will cause them to be unable to stop bleeding after menstruation, resulting in heavy menstrual flow.

2. Hormonal imbalance: It is the most common cause of uterine bleeding, especially in adolescent girls and menopausal women. Because of the anovulatory bleeding caused by hormonal imbalance, menstruation becomes disordered during the first menstruation or when menopause is about to begin. It can also cause the endometrium to grow without limit, until it grows to a thickness that the uterus cannot bear, causing breakthrough bleeding.

3. Poor liver function: Poor liver function will slow down female hormones, cause endometrial hyperplasia, and cause abnormal bleeding.

4. Thyroid problems: If the thyroid function is too low or too high, it will cause ovarian dysfunction, resulting in irregular menstruation in middle-aged women.

5. Malignant tumors: such as cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer and some tumors that secrete female hormones, which cause the proliferation of the endometrium and lead to irregular menstruation and bleeding.

In fact, once female friends enter middle age, they will experience irregular menstruation, which means that the woman is about to enter menopause. However, the time when irregular menstruation occurs is not the same for every female friend, and the reason lies in the different individual physical constitutions. The five points mentioned in the article may happen to different women, so everyone must pay attention.
