What causes hemorrhoids in women?

There are many causes of hemorrhoids, and a large number of clinical studies have shown that every little thing in daily life can cause hemorrhoids. With the continuous development of the current social pace and the continuous acceleration of people's lives, many people suffer from hemorrhoids, especially female patients. Sitting or standing for a long time, eating spicy food, and not paying attention to anal hygiene are all causes of hemorrhoids. Why are women more susceptible to hemorrhoids?

1. Female menstrual period: Because female menstrual period is a relatively special physiological phenomenon, once the menstrual period comes, various parts of the body will undergo changes to varying degrees. Among them, the more obvious changes are: the excitability of the cerebral cortex decreases, the resistance decreases, and uterine bleeding will occur after the endometrium falls off. After the cervix is fully dilated, some women will experience a decrease in appetite and a longer bowel movement, which will cause hemorrhoids.

2. Pregnancy: This type of women puts the heaviest burden on the anus, because many women often have difficulty defecating and the intervals between defecation are long during pregnancy, and they can only defecate twice a week. A more serious case is that in the late stages of pregnancy, the developing fetus will quickly compress the rectum, which will then cause difficulty in defecation, thereby causing obstruction of venous blood return in the rectum and anus, causing hemorrhoids and further aggravating the condition.

3. Menopause: Women in menopause will experience muscle relaxation and weakness throughout the body. Anal tissues such as the sphincter and puborectalis muscle will also become relaxed and weak, and the function of the anus will gradually decline. At this time, women in menopause often experience endocrine disorders, which make people irritable, have a feeling of having to defecate but not being able to do so, causing them to go to the toilet frequently, which is also the main cause of hemorrhoids.

When women suffer from hemorrhoids, it is very harmful to their bodies. Hemorrhoids make people irritable and often give them a feeling of incomplete bowel movements. Although hemorrhoids are a headache and can make you uncomfortable, you should have confidence in the treatment and do some anal exercises when you have nothing to do. It is recommended that female patients go to a professional hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible when they become ill to avoid delaying the condition.
