How to prevent infertility

How to prevent infertility

The medical definition of infertility is the failure to achieve pregnancy after one year of normal sexual life without any contraceptive measures. It is mainly divided into primary infertility and secondary infertility. Primary infertility refers to the inability to conceive; secondary infertility refers to the infertility after having been pregnant. According to this strict definition, infertility is a common problem, affecting at least 10% to 15% of couples of childbearing age. The causes of infertility are divided into male infertility and female infertility. So what are the methods to prevent infertility?

1. Irregular menstruation should be treated early

Menstrual irregularity refers to changes in a woman's menstrual period, menstrual color, and menstrual volume, or the occurrence of amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, metrorrhagia, etc. Most women with infertility have these phenomena to varying degrees. Therefore, it can be said that irregular menstruation is a sign of difficulty in conceiving. When a young girl suffers from irregular menstruation, she should seek treatment early and try to cure it once and for all to avoid future problems. Traditional Chinese medicine can be used for treatment, which generally has good results.

2. Understand physiological knowledge and treatment methods

Generally, girls will have their first menstruation when they are around 14 years old. This is a normal physiological phenomenon. It symbolizes that the reproductive system has gradually matured and there is no need to be alarmed.

3. Pay attention to menstrual hygiene and prevent infection

During menstruation, if you do not pay attention to hygiene, it is easy to get various gynecological diseases, such as irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, vulvitis, vaginitis, cervicitis, endometritis, adnexitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, etc. These diseases will hinder conception after marriage.

4. Pay attention to physical exercise and maintain a good mood towards the arrival of menstruation.

5. In terms of diet, the diet during menstruation is also very worthy of attention. It is better to eat warm food and avoid cold food.

The above are the prevention methods of infertility. Generally speaking, the symptoms of female infertility are more serious than those of male infertility, so female friends should pay more attention to their bodies. You should pay attention to your monthly menstruation, diet and exercise as early as possible. Once you find any abnormalities, you should seek timely treatment. This can also reduce the probability of infertility.
