What to do if there is a lump in the breast after weaning

Raising a baby is a very hard thing. If some problems arise, mothers will be caught off guard, because they all hope that their babies have a healthy body, so mothers also love their children very much. Many people breastfeed, so have you ever had breast lumps after weaning? What should you do?

Experts believe that just being bumped by the baby will not cause breast lumps. It may be because some mothers do not feed their babies milk during weaning, and do not squeeze out the milk in time, which can easily cause milk congestion. Too much milk or the baby sucks less milk, resulting in the milk not being completely emptied; once congestion forms.

Experts recommend that you apply hot water to your breasts, do some soothing local massage, or use a breast pump to help you express milk and try to drain out all the milk in your breasts. Of course, if the lump does not go away, experts still recommend going to the hospital for examination. If the mother has a lot of milk and wants to wean quickly, it is recommended to get a milk-suppressing injection or take milk-suppressing medicine in the hospital.

Relevant experts have suggested that the common formation of lumps in the breasts of mothers after weaning is mainly caused by some residual milk in the breasts that cannot be discharged in time after weaning. In this case, the mother can use massage and hot compress to dissipate it. However, experts still recommend that mothers who experience lumps after weaning during the postpartum recovery period should go to the hospital for a comprehensive examination, because breast lumps and pain are typical symptoms of breast disease. In addition, this time period is most likely to develop mastitis, so mothers must pay enough attention to it.

Once mastitis and obstruction occur after weaning, mothers may try the following tips:

1. Bring a basin of hot water and place it on your knees, then soak the breast with the lump in the water. Replace the water with hot water as soon as it becomes cold. Massage the breast while soaking and slowly squeeze out the milk in the lump.

2. Heat a wooden comb in a microwave, and then use it over and over again to comb out the lumps on your breasts.

3. Remove the internal organs of the live carp, but do not remove the scales. Add pig's trotters and about 15g of tongcao and cook together. Drink it twice a day for 3 to 4 days and you will recover.

4. After a period of breastfeeding, if the mother feels breast swelling and lumps when the baby sucks the breast, it is best to let the father, who is strong, suck out the milk in the lumps while the breasts are swelling. Of course, you can also use a breast pump to help suck out the milk, and try to suck out as much as possible during the few seconds when the milk is swelling.

The above are some measures to take for breast lumps after weaning. There are many reasons for lumps, and it is also related to milk accumulation, so there must be a correct way to solve this problem, so as to prevent mothers from getting breast diseases. I hope the above methods can help mothers who have these problems.
