How to treat breast ductitis

How to treat breast ductitis

Many women have breast problems due to excessive fatigue and other factors, so breast treatment is very important nowadays. Mastitis is a breast disease that is more difficult to treat. So how should mammary ductitis be treated? Let's ask an expert to introduce this issue.

Plasma cell mastitis

It is more common in the non-lactation period, often occurs in the areola area, and the course of the disease is generally long. Acute mastitis is more common during the lactation period, with a shorter course and better treatment effect. Although both are inflammatory lesions, they are essentially different. The former is due to duct dilation caused by duct obstruction, and the lipid substances accumulated in the duct decompose and seep out of the duct, causing a chemical inflammatory reaction, not caused by bacterial infection. Therefore, the systemic symptoms are milder and antibiotic treatment has little effect. If there is an abscess, simple incision and drainage is not effective, and the dilated duct must be removed at the same time to be effective. The latter is a purulent inflammation caused by milk retention and bacterial invasion.

Chills, fever and pain are all very obvious. Laboratory tests show that the white blood cell count is generally elevated. Antibiotic treatment is effective. After the abscess is formed, it can be cured by incision and drainage. In the puncture smear examination, the former can detect inflammatory cells mainly composed of plasma cells, while the latter mainly contains pus cells with few plasma cells. Therefore, in your current situation, you can go to the hospital for endocrine and other related examinations, and then receive symptomatic treatment after finding out the cause.

The above is the treatment method introduced to us by experts. Following the above method for treatment can help patients recover quickly. Especially women suffering from breast ductitis should pay more attention to rest, so as to avoid worsening of the disease and ensure that patients can recover quickly.
