2. Liangdi Paste: 30g each of raw rehmannia and rehmannia root bark, 15g each of Scrophularia, Ophiopogon japonicus and White Peony Root, 30g of donkey-hide gelatin and 40ml of white honey.

Usage: decoct the first five ingredients to obtain 300 ml of concentrated juice, dissolve the donkey-hide gelatin in 60 ml of boiled water, add it into the juice, add white honey, simmer on low heat, wait until it cools, and bottle it. Take 20 ml each time, 3 times a day.

Efficacy: Nourishes yin and blood; suitable for liver and kidney yin deficiency, internal disturbance of deficiency heat leading to menorrhagia, red color, dizziness, irritability and thirst, red tongue, and thin and stringy pulse.

3. Hen and mugwort soup: 1 old hen, 15 grams of mugwort.

Usage: Wash the old hen, cut into pieces, cook it with mugwort leaves, and eat it in 2-3 times. Take 2-3 doses during menstruation.

Efficacy: Tonifies Qi and retains blood, strengthens the spleen and calms the mind. Suitable for those with physical weakness and inability to retain blood, resulting in menorrhagia, palpitations, insomnia, cold pain in the lower abdomen, pale tongue and thin pulse.
