Nowadays, it is easier for many pregnant women to give birth to babies. As we all know, compared with the backward ancient times when women could only give birth at home with the help of midwives, the delivery conditions for modern pregnant women are much better than before. However, even though modern medicine is very developed and can accurately calculate the expected date of delivery of pregnant women, there are still many cases where the water breaks prematurely before the expected date of delivery. Many pregnant women often drag themselves to the hospital when their water breaks prematurely. This behavior is very dangerous. Even if the pain is not too severe when the water breaks, you cannot drag yourself around. So, what are the causes of premature water breaking? Lifting or carrying heavy objects, severe coughing, abnormalities in the fetal membrane, weakening due to maternal STD inflammation, infection, etc., excessive fetal movement, sexual intercourse during pregnancy, especially in late pregnancy, advanced age, smoking and other high-risk pregnant women are all causes of premature rupture of membranes. Under normal circumstances, only when uterine contractions really begin and the cervix is almost fully dilated, the oocyte membrane wrapped around the fetus and amniotic fluid will rupture under the increasing pressure, causing a large amount of amniotic fluid to flow out and the fetus to be born. Premature rupture of membranes means that the fetal membranes rupture before labor actually begins, which is medically known as premature rupture of membranes. Its main symptom is the feeling of fluid flowing out of the vagina, which cannot be controlled and sometimes exceeds the normal level, like urinary incontinence. Once this abnormality occurs, the mother should lie down immediately, take a supine position, and place a pillow or some clothes under her buttocks to raise her buttocks. On the one hand, this can prevent umbilical cord prolapse. Even if there are signs of umbilical cord prolapse, it will slide to the lower uterine cavity due to gravity. On the other hand, it can reduce the outflow of amniotic fluid, avoid difficult delivery and umbilical cord compression caused by too little amniotic fluid, and reduce the chance of accidents such as dystocia and neonatal asphyxia. In addition, pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva to prevent infection. If too much amniotic fluid flows out, you can put a sanitary napkin under your genitals and lie flat, and have your family take you to the hospital as soon as possible for examination and delivery. Many pregnant women do not feel pain when their water breaks prematurely. At this time, they think that if it does not hurt, there will be no danger, so generally they do not choose to go to the hospital. The consequences of doing so are relatively serious, and it is likely to lead to endometrial infection. Therefore, regardless of whether it hurts or not, you must go to the hospital for treatment if your water breaks prematurely. |
