Gynecological inflammation induces dysmenorrhea in women and should not be underestimated

Dysmenorrhea is generally divided into primary dysmenorrhea and secondary dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea has little to do with disease, and the symptoms usually naturally ease or disappear after marriage or childbirth. However, secondary dysmenorrhea is more related to gynecological inflammation and will not heal naturally. So, what are the characteristics of dysmenorrhea induced by gynecological inflammation?


1. Dysmenorrhea will not relieve itself:

Dysmenorrhea caused by gynecological inflammation generally cannot be relieved or disappear on its own after marriage or childbirth like primary dysmenorrhea, and may even become more severe.

2. Non-menstrual pain:

The pain caused by inflammation is often not only during menstruation, but also during non-menstrual periods, when similar symptoms such as lower abdominal distension and pain may occur, and the pain worsens during menstruation. Primary dysmenorrhea usually only causes pain during menstruation, and the pain is closely related to the menstrual cycle. There is generally no discomfort outside of the menstrual period.

3. Abnormal leucorrhea:

Patients with primary dysmenorrhea generally do not have abnormal leucorrhea. Leucorrhea is a barometer of women's health. Abnormal leucorrhea can also be caused by certain gynecological inflammations, so dysmenorrhea caused by inflammation is generally accompanied by abnormal leucorrhea.

4. Dysmenorrhea can cause infertility:

Primary dysmenorrhea generally does not affect fertility, but dysmenorrhea caused by inflammation is closely related to infertility. According to a survey, more than half of the women with infertility have a history of dysmenorrhea to varying degrees, and the pain in this case is often related to gynecological inflammation.

5. Accompanied by other symptoms:

Dysmenorrhea caused by inflammation is usually accompanied by other symptoms, which are closely related to inflammation, such as low back pain, fever, frequent urination, etc. When women experience dysmenorrhea with these symptoms, they must be vigilant and seek medical attention in time to find out the root cause of dysmenorrhea and treat it symptomatically to avoid delaying the disease.
