Leucorrhea often has a strange smell

Contemporary women are completely different from the ancient times when "a woman's virtue lies in her lack of talent". The roles played by women in the new era in society are often similar to those of men, and they have even far surpassed men in some areas. It turns out that women are no worse than men. Although modern women are so powerful, they still have to bow down to diseases. Those common gynecological diseases often cause certain harm to their physical and mental health, making it impossible for them to work normally.

If a woman has problems with her cycle while working, it will not only affect her body, but will also make her distracted from work. If you want to do your job better, it is also very important to take care of your personal hygiene. What should you do when abnormal leucorrhea occurs? First of all, you need to understand what leucorrhea is.

Normal leucorrhea should be milky white or colorless and transparent, with a slightly fishy smell or no smell; its secretion amount and texture are affected by the levels of estrogen and progesterone in the body, and vary cyclically with the menstrual cycle, with varying amounts, textures and thicknesses. Normal leucorrhea is beneficial to women's health because it can play a self-purification role. However, when the amount of leucorrhea is large, smelly, changes color or becomes purulent, it may be the body sending out an alarm, indicating the occurrence of certain gynecological diseases.

Abnormal leucorrhea or odor is believed by traditional Chinese medicine to be related to the spleen and kidneys, and is a mixed disease of deficiency and excess. If the spleen is weak or damaged by food, or phlegm and dampness block the spleen, spleen deficiency will cause dampness, and the belt meridian will be out of control, causing dampness and turbidity to flow downward, resulting in abnormal vaginal discharge. Either the person has kidney deficiency, or has sex too frequently or has multiple births which damage the kidney. Kidney deficiency can cause the belt meridian to become weak, resulting in white discharge. Equivalent to vaginitis in Western medicine. Western medicine believes that leucorrhea is a sticky white or colorless liquid that flows out of the vagina of female mammals. It is a mixture of secretions from the Bartholin's glands, cervical glands, endometrium, exudate from the vaginal mucosa, and desquamated vaginal epithelial cells.

Yellow leucorrhea with an odor is often a sign of reproductive tract infection, and is more common in vaginitis, cervicitis, endometritis, acute or chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Foamy leucorrhea: The leucorrhea is foamy and abundant, accompanied by itching of the vulva and vagina. If a vaginal leucorrhea smear test is done, active Trichomonas may be detected. This is caused by infection with Trichomonas due to unclean bath water in a tub, pool or sitz bath. This disease is often caused by itching and scratching of the vaginal opening, which leads to purulent infection and the leucorrhea turns into yellow pus and foam. Purulent leucorrhea: Leucorrhea is yellow or green and pus-like, often accompanied by symptoms such as general weakness and low fever. It is likely to be acute vaginitis or cervicitis. Purulence indicates bacterial infection.

Common treatments for leucorrhea with a lot of odor:

1. Treatment with traditional Chinese medicine: Spleen deficiency type leucorrhea is white in color and has no odor. Patients experience chest tightness, fatigue, loss of appetite, loose stools, and white tongue coating. It is advisable to use Chinese medicine that strengthens the spleen and eliminates dampness, such as Yudai Pills, 15 grams each time, twice a day; or Renshen Guipi Pills, 1 pill each time, 3 times a day.

2. Dietary therapy: 200 grams of fresh purslane and 2 raw eggs. Mash purslane and filter the juice, remove the egg yolks, mix the egg whites with the purslane juice, and drink with boiled water, once a day. Suitable for fungal leucorrhea with odor and excessive leucorrhea.

In fact, women should control their own cycles. Although the length of each woman's cycle is different, the general difference is not that big. When there is an odor in the vaginal discharge, it is best to take certain measures to restore your body to normal condition. Because this is related to women's physiological issues, it can be big or small. The above explains the reasons for abnormal leucorrhea. Only by knowing these can we deal with it well and be a healthy woman.
