When to use pregnancy test strips

The easiest way for female friends to test whether they are pregnant is to use early pregnancy test strips. Although its accuracy rate has a certain error, if it shows double bars for several consecutive tests, the possibility of your pregnancy is more than 95%. However, for the accuracy of early pregnancy tests, there are certain requirements for the testing time. Only in this way can the correct answer be obtained. So, when is the best time to use a pregnancy test strip?

There are two points to note when testing with early pregnancy test strips. One is the time of delayed menstruation. If the menstruation is delayed for only three or four days, you will not see accurate results from the test. It usually takes about a week. Another point is when the test is most accurate during the day.

The timing of pregnancy test strips depends on the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in a woman's urine. By 14 days after conception, when a woman is due to menstruate, some early pregnancy test strips will be able to detect this hormone in the pregnant woman's urine and will show a positive result. Although early pregnancy test strips claim that they can detect early pregnancy on the first day after conception, most products are not sensitive enough to guarantee an accurate result for the tester at this time. In fact, women might as well wait a little longer and take a pregnancy test one week after missing their period. They may be able to get more accurate results at that time.

When is the best time to use a pregnancy test strip during the day? It is best for women to do a pregnancy test during the first urination after getting up in the morning, because the urine concentration is higher at this time and contains more human chorionic gonadotropin. Therefore, if the tester is really pregnant, the possibility of a positive early pregnancy test will be higher.

Only by knowing when to use the pregnancy test strips can the test results be the most accurate. In addition, in order to reduce the error of early pregnancy tests, you must be careful when purchasing early pregnancy test strips. Do not purchase early pregnancy test strips that are more than one year old, so as to avoid the test strips getting damp and the test cannot obtain correct test results.
