Gynecological diseases in women were mentioned, the most common of which is corpus luteum rupture. The main incidence groups of this type of disease are women aged between 30 and 14 years old. In addition, corpus luteum rupture is extremely harmful to our physical health. In severe cases, it may even cause heavy bleeding or eventually lead to amenorrhea. So what are the symptoms of corpus luteum rupture? In fact, the symptoms of corpus luteum rupture often vary from person to person. Some people have more severe symptoms, which may eventually lead to infertility, but some people have milder symptoms and generally can be cured with timely treatment. Therefore, if you find that your corpus luteum has ruptured, you should seek medical attention immediately. Causes of Corpus Luteum Rupture: 1. Spontaneous rupture: Under normal circumstances, there is a small amount of bleeding in the corpus luteum, but if there is too much bleeding, it may increase the pressure in the corpus luteum, resulting in spontaneous rupture. 2. External force: If the lower abdomen is hit, or when jumping, running, coughing or defecating violently, the pressure in the abdominal cavity suddenly increases, which can cause the mature corpus luteum to rupture. 3. Caused by sexual intercourse: During sexual intercourse, the reproductive organs expand and become congested. When reaching orgasm, the muscle tissue may contract spasmodically, causing the tension in the corpus luteum to increase. If the male has rough sexual intercourse and the woman's lower abdomen is strongly impacted, it will cause the corpus luteum to rupture. Therefore, when a woman experiences lower abdominal pain after sexual intercourse, she must not be careless. Symptoms of Corpus Luteum Rupture The degree of abdominal pain in the clinical manifestations of patients can also vary greatly. Its development process is basically the same as that of abdominal pain in ectopic pregnancy. However, in case of fallopian tube abortion, abdominal pain may occur multiple times due to repeated bleeding. In case of ovarian corpus luteum rupture, the bleeding can gradually coagulate and stop on its own after a single bleeding, and the chance of repeated attacks is less. Sudden lower abdominal pain in the second half of menstruation, lower abdominal tenderness and rebound pain, tenderness in the posterior fornix during gynecological examination, cervical shaking pain, and a mass in the adnexal area on one side with tenderness. Ultrasound can reveal pelvic effusion and adnexal mass, and no blood coagulation when aspirated from the posterior fornix. Its clinical manifestations, signs and B-ultrasound results are similar to those of ectopic pregnancy, especially the prolonged menstrual cycle. When urine HCG is weakly positive, it is very easy to misdiagnose as ectopic pregnancy, increasing the chances of surgery. In addition to abdominal pain, most ovarian corpus luteum rupture occurs in the second half of the menstrual cycle, and there are generally no symptoms of delayed menstruation or vaginal bleeding. The main basis for diagnosis of internal bleeding also relies on posterior fornix or abdominal puncture. Pregnancy tests are usually negative. Therefore, for a gynecological patient with acute abdomen due to internal bleeding, if she does not have symptoms of amenorrhea or bleeding and the pregnancy test is negative, the possibility of ovarian corpus luteum rupture should be considered. Laparoscopic examination revealed the corpus luteum and ovarian fissure, sometimes with active oozing, and both fallopian tubes were normal. I believe that all women of childbearing age already know the symptoms of corpus luteum rupture. In fact, the symptoms of corpus luteum rupture are quite obvious, and mainly manifest as lower abdominal pain, and may cause lower body bleeding, etc. Therefore, if you find any suspected gynecological symptoms of this type, you should go to a regular gynecological hospital for examination and treatment in time, otherwise it will easily aggravate the condition and eventually lead to irreversible consequences. |
