Traditional Chinese medicine calls this disease "menstrual abdominal pain." There is a distinction between deficiency and excess, and clinically it can be divided into four syndromes: qi stagnation and blood stasis, cold and dampness coagulation, qi and blood deficiency, and dampness and heat descending. 1. Boiled eggs with Corydalis and Leonurus japonicus: 20 grams of Corydalis yanhusuo, 50 grams of Leonurus japonicus, and 2 eggs. Add the above 3 ingredients to water and cook together. After the eggs are cooked, peel them and put them back into the pot and cook for about 20 minutes. You can drink the soup and eat the eggs. It has the effects of regulating menstruation, relieving dysmenorrhea, replenishing blood, improving complexion, and moisturizing and beautifying the skin. 2. Black bean and eggnog soup: 60 grams of black beans, 2 eggs, 100 ml of yellow wine or rice wine. Add black beans and eggs to water and cook. It has the functions of regulating the middle, lowering qi and relieving pain. It is suitable for women with dysmenorrhea caused by deficiency of qi and blood, and has the effect of harmonizing blood and moisturizing the skin. 3. Ginger, mugwort and coix seed porridge: 10 grams each of dried ginger and mugwort, and 30 grams of coix seed. Boil the first two ingredients in water to extract the juice, cook the coix seeds into porridge until 80% cooked, then add the medicinal juice and cook until done. It has the effects of warming the meridians, removing blood stasis, dispelling cold, removing dampness and moisturizing the skin. Suitable for dysmenorrhea caused by cold and dampness stagnation. 4. Motherwort and Cyperus Decoction: 100 grams each of motherwort and cyperus rotundus, 250 grams of chicken, and 5 scallions. Crush the scallion whites, and fry them with chicken, motherwort, and balsam pear in water. Drink soup and eat chicken. Suitable for dysmenorrhea and can brighten the skin. 15 grams of hawthorn meat, 5 grams of cinnamon twig, 30-50 grams of brown sugar. Put hawthorn pulp and cinnamon twigs into a clay pot, add 2 bowls of water, simmer over low heat until 1 bowl of water remains, then add brown sugar, mix well, and bring to a boil. It has the effects of warming the meridians, dredge blood vessels, remove blood stasis and relieve pain. Suitable for women suffering from cold dysmenorrhea and those with dull complexion. 5. Ginger, jujube and brown sugar water: 30 grams each of dried ginger, jujube, and brown sugar. Wash the first two ingredients, slice the dried ginger, remove the core of the jujube, and fry with brown sugar. Drink soup and eat dates. It has the effect of warming the meridians and dispersing cold. Suitable for cold dysmenorrhea and chloasma. 6. Ginger, jujube and pepper soup: 25 grams of ginger, 30 grams of jujube, and 100 grams of pepper. Peel the ginger, wash and slice it. Wash and core the jujubes, put them into a clay pot together with the Sichuan peppercorns. Add 1 and a half bowls of water, simmer over low heat until half a bowl of water remains. Remove the residue and keep the soup. Drink, one dose per day. It has the effect of warming the middle and relieving pain. It is suitable for treating dysmenorrhea due to cold and has the effect of brightening the skin. 7. Leek juice and brown sugar drink: 300 grams of fresh leeks and 100 grams of brown sugar. Wash the fresh leeks, drain the water, chop them and mash them to extract the juice for later use. Put brown sugar in an aluminum pot, add a little water and boil it. After the sugar dissolves, add it into the leek juice and it is ready to drink. It has the effects of warming the meridians and replenishing Qi. It is suitable for dysmenorrhea caused by deficiency of both qi and blood, and can make the skin rosy and smooth. 8. Hawthorn wine: 300 grams of dried hawthorn and 500 milliliters of low-alcohol liquor. Wash the dried hawthorn, remove the core, chop it, put it into a large bottle with a stopper, add white wine, plug the bottle mouth tightly, soak it for 7 to 10 days and then drink it. 15 ml each time. Shake 1 to 2 times a day during the soaking period. It has the effects of strengthening the spleen and regulating menstruation. It is suitable for women with dysmenorrhea and can promote body and skin fitness. 9. Hawthorn, sunflower seeds and brown sugar soup: 50 grams each of hawthorn and sunflower seeds, 100 grams of brown sugar. Put all the above ingredients into a pot, add appropriate amount of water and fry or stew together, remove the residue and take the soup. It has the effects of tonifying the middle and replenishing Qi, strengthening the spleen and stomach, harmonizing blood and improving complexion. Suitable for dysmenorrhea caused by deficiency of both qi and blood. This soup should be consumed 3 to 5 days before menstruation for better pain relief and beauty effects. 10. Rose tea: Pick rose flowers in summer and autumn. The best ones are those with purple-red half-open buds, not falling petals, and a fragrant smell. Brew it and drink it instead of tea every day. It has the effects of promoting qi, activating blood circulation and moisturizing the skin. Suitable for irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea and other symptoms. 11. Safflower wine: 200 grams of safflower, 1000 ml of low-alcohol wine, and appropriate amount of brown sugar. Wash the safflower, dry the surface moisture, put it into a clean gauze bag together with brown sugar, seal the bag, put it into a wine jar, cover it and soak it for 7 days before drinking. Usage: 1 to 2 times a day, 20 to 30 ml each time. It has the functions of nourishing blood and skin, promoting blood circulation and relieving menstruation. Suitable for women with blood deficiency, blood stasis, dysmenorrhea and other symptoms. |
