Pictures of cesarean section incision recovery

For mothers who choose cesarean section, in addition to the problem of body shape change after giving birth, there is another problem that cannot be avoided, that is, the problem of repairing the cesarean section incision. Since mothers are worried that the incision will leave obvious scars, so how to make the cesarean section incision heal well?

Because cesarean section causes incisions, and after giving birth, the intra-abdominal pressure suddenly decreases, the abdominal muscles relax, and the intestinal motility slows down, which can easily lead to constipation. The dietary arrangements are different from those required for natural childbirth. Pregnant women can drink some boiled water 12 hours after the operation to stimulate intestinal motility, and can only eat after defecating; when eating at the beginning, liquid food should be chosen, and then gradually soft food and solid food.

1. After cesarean section, you should avoid eating spicy food, drinking alcohol, and increase nutrition. Your diet should be dominated by light and nutritious foods, such as fish, meat, eggs, beans and other protein-rich foods and fruits rich in vitamins, which can promote the recovery of postpartum wounds.

2. The ten most common foods that promote wound repair are: squab, rainbow trout, kelp, eggplant, fungus, tomato, pure honey, pig's feet, pig's feet, and black beans.

3. Iron-supplementing foods: calcium deficiency will reduce the function of collagen fibers. Zinc is mainly found in foods such as black fungus and kelp. Supplementing vitamin D foods can promote wound repair. It is mainly found in foods such as fish oil, carrots, and tomatoes.

4. Fat foods: the lack of long-chain fatty acids can cause damage to wound repair. Fish oil is rich in oleic acid, which has anti-infection effect and is beneficial to wound healing. Vitamin C foods can promote wound repair. Vitamin C is found in various vegetables and fresh fruits. Red dates and chili peppers are treasures of vitamin C.

5. Glucose foods. Sugar is the main energy supplier for the body. Providing sufficient energy is essential for wound repair. During the wound healing period, it is advisable to eat more sugar-rich fruits, which can not only increase the sugar content, but also absorb a certain amount of vitamins. Increasing protein in the diet can promote wound healing and reduce the chance of infection. Protein-rich foods include various lean meats, milk, eggs and so on.

Common problems after caesarean section

1. It is not suitable to lie flat: After the operation, the anesthetic effect disappears, and pregnant women feel pain in the wound. The lying position is most sensitive to uterine contraction pain, so side lying should be adopted, so that the body and the bed are at an angle of 20-30 degrees, and a mattress or blanket should be placed behind to relieve the vibration and extension pain of the wound when the body moves.

2. Not suitable for rest: After the intuition recovers after the operation, you should carry out physical activities. After 24 hours, you should practice turning over, sitting up, and getting up to move slowly. This can improve gastrointestinal motility, expel gas as soon as possible, and prevent intestinal adhesion and thrombosis from causing blockage in other parts.

3. Not suitable to eat too much: eating too much after cesarean section will cause abdominal distension and increased abdominal pressure, which is not conducive to recovery. Therefore, you should fast within 6 hours after the operation, and then gradually increase your appetite.

4. Immediate bowel movement: After cesarean section, due to the pain in the abdomen, pregnant women are afraid to exert force and cannot defecate immediately when going to the toilet, which can easily lead to urinary retention and constipation. Therefore, pregnant women should go to the toilet immediately according to their usual habits after surgery.

5. Resolutely prevent fever and cold: Coughing with sputum can affect wound repair, and severe coughing can even cause wound tearing. Pregnant women who have a severe cold should take medication immediately.
