Is it normal for an 11 and a half year old girl to have her period?

In the middle and late stages of puberty, mostly when they are 13 to 14 years old, girls will have their periods. The first period is called "menarche". In the past, due to poor living conditions and poor health, menstruation was delayed until 16-17 years old; nowadays, for girls, the best time for the first menstruation is 10-11 years old.

When the first menstruation is about to come, you may experience symptoms such as flushed cheeks, swollen breasts, mild dizziness, and back pain. After the first menstruation, it will not be easy to have your period on a monthly basis. It usually comes every 2 to 3 months, or every few months. It takes about a year to gradually become regular. Each period usually lasts 3 to 5 days, but sometimes 3 to 7 days. The normal menstrual cycle is 28 to 30 days. Some people have 23 to 25 days or more than 30 days, which are all within the normal range. The amount of menstrual flow each time is generally between 50 and 100 ml. The normal color of menstrual period is dark red to bright red, the texture is sticky and there are no blood clots. If dark red or brown discharge appears during menstruation, it is abnormal and you should go to the hospital for a physical examination and treatment.

Women's menstrual cycle is mostly regular, and menstruation once a month is a normal physiological phenomenon. It relies on the regulation of the midbrain-pituitary gland-uterus and ovary axis. No matter which stage has problems, it will cause chaos and affect women's reproductive health. Therefore, women should be extra careful during their menstrual period and not think that it is a "friend" coming and neglect to care for themselves.

The changes in the menstrual cycle are directly controlled by the hormone secreted by women's sex hormones, and sex hormones are closely related to the vocal organs. Due to changes in the secretion of sex hormones (uterus and ovaries) during menstruation, excessive laryngeal secretions or hematoma and edema, women's voices will undergo different degrees of changes during menstruation.

Be careful not to use your voice too much, do not sing without control, do not speak loudly for a long time, and do not force your voice, because during menstruation not only the pelvic cavity is congested and the uterine wall falls off, but also the mucous membranes and capillaries of the pharynx, nasopharynx and bronchial tubes are swollen. That affects the exchange of CO2 in the blood. In addition, the mucous membrane on the surface of the throat is not strong. At this time, the laryngeal muscles and the surface mucosa will be subjected to sudden impact, aggravating the hematoma and causing laryngeal bleeding.
