Chest pain and back pain, is it pregnancy?

There are many symptoms in early pregnancy, such as: cessation of menstrual period, nausea and vomiting, urgency and frequency of urination, fever, etc. So, does chest pain mean you are pregnant? What are some common breast pain symptoms? What other symptoms are there in early pregnancy? Come and find out with me.

The cessation of menstrual period, fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, loss of appetite, picky eating, fear of greasy smells, morning nausea, even vomiting, urgent and frequent urination, breast development and nipple enlargement in girls, darker color of nipples and areola, small nodules near nipples, and even tingling and soreness in the breasts are all early symptoms of pregnancy. In fact, there are six types of widespread breast pain:

1. Breast pain during adolescence: It usually occurs between the ages of 9 and 13. The pain and swelling will disappear independently after the first menstruation.

2. Breast pain in the early stages of menstruation: Many women experience swollen, hard, and painful breasts before their menarche. In severe cases, the breasts will become swollen and painful with the slightest vibration or collision. It is caused by increased estrogen levels in the human body before menstruation, breast hyperplasia, and edema of breast tissue. These changes may disappear after girls reach menarche.

3. Breast pain during pregnancy: Some women experience breast pain within 40 days of pregnancy because the test tube embryo and chorionic villi metabolize a lot of estrogen, female hormone, and lactogen, which causes the breast to expand and cause breast pain. In severe cases, it can last throughout the pregnancy and no treatment is required.

4. Postpartum breast pain: Breast distension, lumps and pain often occur 3 to 7 days after delivery. This is mainly due to mammary lymph node retention, venous overflow and interstitial edema and obstruction of mammary duct.

5. Breast pain after abortion: This is because the pregnancy is suddenly interrupted, and the body's estrogen level decreases suddenly, causing the newly grown breasts to suddenly stop growing, resulting in breast lumps and breast pain.

6. Breast pain during sexual intercourse: This is related to the physiological changes in the breasts during sexual intercourse. People with sexual apathy or disharmonious sexual life will not be able to meet their physiological needs, so breast abscesses and swelling will not subside easily or will subside incompletely. Persistent abscesses will cause breast pain.

Early pregnancy symptoms

1. Interruption of menstrual period: This is the most common symptom of early pregnancy that people usually notice. If a woman is of childbearing age and has normal menstruation, and has sexual intercourse more than 2 weeks after the normal menstrual period, she may be pregnant. But it does not mean that you are pregnant if your menstrual period does not come. There are many reasons why your menstrual period does not come, such as poor ovarian function, abnormal male hormones, busy work, and anxiety due to exams, all of which can lead to delayed menstruation. Therefore, it is best to go through a doctor's diagnosis for the safest option.

2. Frequent nausea and vomiting: Basically, many pregnant women in the early stages of pregnancy often experience nausea and vomiting, especially at the beginning of the day. These symptoms vary from person to person. Some people have very mild symptoms, while others have very severe symptoms. Unless you are experiencing severe nausea and vomiting, you should seek medical attention. Otherwise, these are all normal conditions in early pregnancy.

3. Breast pain, swelling and itching: Breast pain, swelling and itching are physiological phenomena in early pregnancy. In addition, there will be other changes such as darkening of areola, obvious veins in subcutaneous tissue of breast, and obvious protrusion of nipple.

4. Getting tired easily: Getting tired easily and often feeling sleepy are common in early pregnancy.

5. Vaginal mucosal discoloration: In the early stages of pregnancy, the vaginal mucosa may appear darker due to abscesses. This should be identified by a doctor.

6. Changes in skin color: may cause skin pigmentation or stretch marks on the abdomen, especially in the late stages of pregnancy.

7. Frequent urination: In the third month of pregnancy, the bladder is compressed by the growing uterus, which causes the bladder capacity to decrease, resulting in frequent urination.

8. Increased basal body temperature: The body temperature during ovulation can reflect the body's oxidative phosphorylation status under quiet conditions. The body temperature during ovulation during pregnancy and childbirth is related to the cyclical changes in ovarian and fetal growth hormones. The body temperature will rise by 0.3-0.5℃ after ovulation until 1-2 days before menstruation or the first day of menstruation. If the basal body temperature rises and the menstrual period is not over yet, and the ovulation body temperature does not drop for 16 days, the possibility of pregnancy is very high. If it continues for 3 months, it can be basically confirmed that you are pregnant, but it is necessary to eliminate factors that can increase the body temperature, such as systemic infection symptoms, colds and fever.
