Normal belly picture of 100 days of pregnancy

Pregnancy can be divided into three stages. The period before 12 weeks of pregnancy is called the early pregnancy, the period from 13 to 27 weeks of pregnancy is called the mid-pregnancy, and the period after 28 weeks of pregnancy is called the late pregnancy. The growth rate and shape of the fetus are different in each stage. So how big is the belly at 100 days of pregnancy?

At 100 days of pregnancy, the fetal biparietal diameter should be around 2.6 cm to 2.9 cm, the length of the fetal head should be around 1.1~1.4 cm, and the standard value of the baby's head circumference should be around 11 cm. Therefore, at 100 days of pregnancy, the woman's pregnant belly can be basically seen. And at this stage, the health care guidelines for pregnant women have basically been established, and it is necessary to do a second check-up. Then the time for the second check-up is usually around 14 to 19 weeks of pregnancy. During the second examination, blood pressure and fetal heart rate need to be measured accurately. If iron deficiency anemia occurs during this period, pregnant women need to supplement iron in time.

In addition, 100 days of pregnancy has exceeded the three-month pregnancy period. At three months of pregnancy, the fetus has basically taken shape, and it can be distinguished from the external reproductive organs whether it is a boy or a girl, and the child's limbs can also move during this period. Therefore, in addition to supplementing iron at this stage, you also need to supplement some calcium appropriately. In your diet, you can eat more fish or lean pork. These foods are rich in protein.

Can the baby move after 100 days of pregnancy?

The baby starts to move around the 4th month of pregnancy, and the fetus will not be formed until the 12th week of pregnancy. It is not easy to have fetal movement at this time. The time for pregnant women to actively and noticeably experience fetal movements is 18-20 weeks. If there are noticeable fetal movements during 18-20 weeks, you should go to the hospital to check the cause immediately. You should not delay at home to check and eliminate any abnormalities.

In fact, there is a regularity in the fetal movements. Generally speaking, pregnant women can feel the fetal movements after the fourth month of pregnancy (16 to 18 weeks). However, in fact, this matter cannot be generalized. Because everyone's situation is different, the time when you can first feel the baby's fetal movement varies from person to person. The frequency of fetal movements reaches its peak from July to September of pregnancy, reaching up to about 130 times a day. Later, as the fetus continues to grow, the space in the uterus is insufficient and the fetus's activities are restricted, the frequency of fetal movements will gradually decrease.

Fetal movement refers to the movement of the fetus in the uterus that impacts the endometrium. Generally, pregnant women will begin to feel the baby's movements after four months of pregnancy. However, some pregnant women may have doubts. They can feel the baby moving in their stomach when they are three months pregnant. Some babies will have early fetal movements, and they will be eager to say hello to their mothers at three months. Unless there is a loud noise or vibration in the abdominal cavity, the fetus is usually dormant in the uterus, sometimes stretching its arms and legs several times an hour. Of course, fetal movement is also affected by your mood, eating too much or too little, or exercising. The fetus should be basically in a dormant state in the uterine cavity, and should not stay awake for more than two hours.
