Why is my menstrual period so light and dark?

Why is my menstrual period so light and dark?

Everyone knows that if you are a woman, you will have your period. From the ignorant teenagers to the gradually mature thirty years old, menstruation can be said to have been guarding women for decades. It also reflects women's growth. Menstruation is also a weather map of women's health. If menstruation is normal, the body will be healthier. If menstruation is irregular, it may cause ovarian aging or some gynecological diseases. Therefore, female friends need to pay great attention to the monthly menstruation.

Generally speaking, due to the differences in everyone's physical fitness and living and eating habits, it is impossible for every woman to have her menstruation at the same time, but under normal circumstances, there are several ranges: a normal menstrual cycle is 25-35 days, a menstrual period lasts 3-7 days, and the average menstrual volume is around 20-60ml. If your menstrual period is in line with these data, it means that your menstrual period is relatively normal, and your uterus and ovaries are also very healthy. But for some people, their menstruation ends in just two days, and the menstrual flow is very small and dark in color. Does this mean they are sick?

My period was light and dark in color, and it ended after just two days. What's the reason?

The first reason may be that there is an abnormality in the body's estrogen metabolism. The secretion of estrogen directly affects the state of menstruation. When the body's estrogen secretion is sufficient, the uterine wall will grow and develop. When it reaches a certain thickness, it will automatically fall off, eventually resulting in menstruation. However, if the secretion of estrogen is insufficient, the uterine wall cannot develop well, and the menstrual period comes immediately, the menstrual volume will be very small, and it may also be accompanied by dark color. If left untreated, it will cause great damage to the uterus and have a great impact on women's virility.

The second reason may be premature ovarian failure. Staying up late, sitting for a long time, and changes in body hormones will all have an impact on the ovaries. Once the ovaries are weakened and ovarian function is premature, it is easier to get a series of gynecological diseases. Cervicitis, polycystic ovary syndrome, uterine fibroids, etc. are all very common diseases. In this case, the menstrual period will inevitably be affected, and may come early or late. The quality of menstruation is irregular, there are gray and black blood clots, and in severe cases, it may cause premature menopause.

The third reason may be malnutrition. Most women attach great importance to body shape, and losing weight is something they have been complaining about for a long time. Making friends to lose weight may be a way of losing weight for many women, and it is more effective. However, you don't know that if you just talk about losing weight, immediately you become thinner, which may not be healthy and beautiful, and it is easy to rebound. Over time, it may cause malnutrition. Hunger is a small matter, but the menstrual period is affected, which is a big deal. The menstrual period may become shorter, the cycle time may be irregular, and your menstruation will be farther and farther away.

The fourth reason is deficiency of Qi and blood. Some women may have weak physique and frail body, and often suffer from back pain, dizziness, and pale complexion. These are all manifestations of deficiency of Qi and blood in the body, and blood is very important for women. Some blood will be lost during menstruation, which will make people weaker. Over time, the menstrual volume will become lower, the color will be purple and black, and it will not proceed smoothly. It may also cause menstrual pain or uterine cold, and in severe cases, it is easy to have premature menopause.
