1. Differences between breast mammary glands and lumps

Breast lumps are a type of tumor, most of which are benign tumors, but they require surgical treatment. The effect of drug treatment will be less. If you feel pain when touching the nipple and it is swollen, it is likely to be breast hyperplasia. For the specific situation, women should go to a regular hospital for a detailed examination.

Breast hyperplasia and breast lumps can both cause breast cancer symptoms, so if you have any abnormal sensations in your breasts, you should pay attention to it and conduct regular examinations and treatments as soon as possible. In addition to breast pain, breast hyperplasia may also cause pain around the breasts and in the armpits.

2. Which groups are more likely to suffer from breast hyperplasia?

Breast hyperplasia symptoms are generally more common in women between the ages of 30 and 40. Simple hyperplasia cannot feel obvious lumps, but there is a feeling of swelling and pain. More serious patients also have a tingling feeling. If the tingling pain occurs frequently, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for examination.

3. The relationship between breast lumps and masses

Breast nodules and lumps are indeed two concepts that are difficult to define. Generally speaking, if the breast structure tends to be normal or the so-called proliferative changes, and is manifested as a two-dimensional structure in routine physical examinations, the doctor will define it as a lump; if the breast structure tends to be a tumor and has an obvious three-dimensional structure, it will be defined as a lump.

However, this does not mean that the condition of a lump is lighter than that of a hard lump, because breast cancer in a relatively early stage may also manifest as breast nodules or even thickening of the glandular ducts. As the condition progresses, it will gradually manifest as a breast lump.

In addition, breast nodules can be mostly dynamically observed through understanding medical history, examination, expression, psychological state and diet therapy. Some patients with more severe symptoms and pain can be treated with medication. The most important thing in treating breast lumps is to determine whether the lump itself is breast cancer or whether there is a risk of breast cancer, that is, to eliminate and diagnose breast cancer.

Secondly, normal breast examination time should be carried out within one week after each menstrual period. Whether sitting or lying down, you should use the tips of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fingers to gently press each breast in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction to compare its internal structure. Finally, check the area under the nipple and under the armpit. Never grab or pinch the breast with the index finger and thumb for examination.
