Regarding the items of pre-pregnancy physical examination for couples, relevant personnel stated that under normal circumstances, a variety of tests are required for pre-pregnancy physical examinations. In fact, several items need to be done. It is recommended that it is best to follow the doctor's advice, so as to ensure the health of the body and let the baby grow up happier. 1. TORCH inspection Intrauterine infection is a key factor affecting the growth and development of the fetus. The main pathogens known at this stage are: Toxoplasma gondii (T), rubella virus (R), rubella virus (C), herpes simplex virus (H) and other viruses (O), such as human papillomavirus. This group of pathogen infections is called the TORCH disease group. Medical clinical studies have confirmed that if pregnant mothers are infected with any of the above pathogens, they may infect the fetus during pregnancy, causing miscarriage, fetal death, deformity, congenital intellectual disability and other symptoms. If you are diagnosed with the virus before pregnancy, you should not get pregnant. You need to wait 8 to 12 weeks until the infection is cured or you are no longer infectious before getting pregnant. A positive IgG test for the viral antigen generally indicates that the person has been infected for a long time and does not require treatment. If the virus antibody is IgM, it means that you were infected with a relative virus 2 to 8 weeks ago and are in the recovery period of surgery. You need to wait until the test turns negative before getting pregnant. 2. Routine blood test (blood type) check Routine blood tests can detect blood diseases such as anemia, sepsis, and low platelets as early as possible. If a problem is found, you need to get treatment and obtain the doctor's consent before becoming pregnant again. 3. Hepatitis B virus, liver and kidney function tests Only those with normal liver and kidney function can endure the entire pregnancy process. If the mother is a viral hepatitis patient and is not treated in time, it can cause very serious adverse effects during pregnancy: premature birth or even neonatal death. Hepatitis B virus can also be transmitted vertically to children. If the pre-pregnancy physical examination shows triple positive and abnormal liver function, pregnancy should be temporarily avoided and treatment should be carried out. If it is hepatitis B virus positive, further quantitative analysis and testing of hepatitis B virus DNA should be carried out to determine its infectivity. Those with negative hepatitis B DNA test can become pregnant, and intramuscular injection of hepatitis B high-efficiency human immunoglobulin should be given during pregnancy and within 24 hours after the newborn is delivered to prevent the newborn from being infected with hepatitis B virus. 4. STD (syphilis, HIV virus test) Carry out special AIDS and syphilis testing projects in the laboratory. Don’t think that this test is useless to you. It’s best to check it just in case. Especially at this stage when AIDS is spreading from key groups to the normal population, we must remain vigilant to prevent it from affecting the health of pregnant women and fetuses. |
