Itchy and painful down there

For most women, when problems occur in their private parts, they are usually too shy to deal with it, so they would rather endure it than see a doctor. For example, some women experience itching and pain in their genitals. Many people feel that it will go away if they just hold it in, but they don’t know that this may be a symptom of a certain gynecological disease. So let me tell you, what are the causes of itching and pain in the female genitals? Check out the detailed explanation below.

Why is my private parts a little itchy and painful?

1. Bacterial infection of vaginal disease

10% to 40% of patients have no clinical symptoms. Those with symptoms have increased female secretions with a fishy odor, which is especially aggravated after sexual intercourse and may be accompanied by mild vulvar itching or burning sensation. Examination showed no inflammation of the vaginal mucosa with hematoma. The secretion was grayish white, uniform, thin, and long-adhered to the vaginal wall, making it easy to wipe off the secretion from the vaginal wall.

2. Trichomonas vaginitis

(1) Vulvar itching, burning pain, and pain during sexual intercourse.

(2) Frequent, urgent, and painful urination. The characteristic of urinary pain is that urine irritates the private parts and vestibular function during urination, causing pain.

(3) Characteristics of secretions: Milky white, thick, and resembling lotion or soybean milk residue.

(4) Vulvitis - ground-like erythema, edema, and scars.

(5) Vaginitis - edema, erythema, milky white membranous substance.

3. Candidal vaginitis

(1) Characteristics of increased female secretions: thinner, light green, sticky, and with an odor.

(2) Location of vulvar itching: vulva and private parts.

(3) If combined with urethral infection: frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine, painful urination, and sometimes blood in the urine.

(4) Infertility: Toxoplasma gondii can devour male sperm, blocking the transformation of lactic acid bacteria and affecting their survival in the female vagina.

(5) Examination revealed: intravaginal mucosal hematoma, scattered black spots of bleeding, and a large amount of secretions from the posterior fornix of the cervix in a "strawberry seedling" pattern, which were yellowish-brown, yellowish-white, thinner liquid, or light green purulent secretions, often in a viscous state. There are no abnormal changes in the vaginal mucosa of carriers.
