How long does it take for bleeding to occur after taking Mipristone tablets?

Vaginal bleeding will not occur after taking Mifepristone for medical abortion, but some women are more sensitive to estrogen drugs and will have a small amount of vaginal bleeding about 1 day after taking it, and the bleeding is relatively light. After the occurrence of vaginal bleeding, you should continue to take medicine as instructed by the doctor. The occurrence of pregnancy spotting does not mean that the gestational sac has been expelled. Medical abortion will begin with uterine contractions accompanied by vaginal bleeding within 2-6 hours after taking miso, causing the gestational sac to be expelled.

Mifepristone and misoprostol can be taken in order to induce early abortion within 49 days of amenorrhea. Mifepristone is an anti-estrogen drug with anti-implantation effect, while misoprostol has prostacyclin effect, which can induce uterine contraction and promote the expulsion of the gestational sac. Although medical abortion is convenient to use, it may cause bleeding, incomplete or unsuccessful abortion, and should not be used casually to prevent internal bleeding or other complications.

There are two types of drugs for medical abortion: 1. Mifepristone. 2. Miso. Abortion surgery in the early 7th week of pregnancy is performed with a combination of two drugs: Mifepristone and Misoprodol. Take miff first. Generally speaking, miff will not cause bleeding or miscarriage after taking it, but there will always be a small amount of gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, etc. Therefore, it is recommended not to eat or drink 1-2 hours before taking miff and 1-2 hours after taking it to avoid the occurrence of severe vomiting and other adverse reactions of the digestive system.

After taking mifepristone, you should take misoprostol regularly as recommended by your doctor. After taking misoprostol, uterine contractions, vaginal bleeding and miscarriage will usually occur 1-2 hours after taking it. It is recommended to observe the symptoms carefully when taking mifepristone and misoprostol. If there are severe reactions such as dizziness, you should seek medical attention immediately. In addition, when it is recommended to take miso, that is, during the period of bleeding and miscarriage, it is recommended to be observed in the hospital.
