How to solve physiological problems during confinement

How to solve physiological problems during confinement

Women also have physiological needs during the confinement period, but it is not recommended to have sexual intercourse during the confinement period. It is best to have sex 3 months after delivery. Having sex too early will affect the mother's vaginal recovery and cause endocrine disorders. Therefore, during the confinement period, it is best for the mother to restrain her physiological needs. The couple can kiss and hug to relieve physical and mental stress, and then take good care of themselves during the confinement period.

Many pregnant mothers will be troubled by this. When encountering such a situation, the husband should actively help and not be careless. After having a baby, it is difficult for expectant mothers to express these 3 physiological needs

1. Frequent urination After pregnancy, as the fetus gradually grows, the uterus occupies more and more space in the abdominal cavity, which will compress the surrounding organs and cause them to move. The bladder is the organ closest to the uterus, so it becomes the first target. The space for the bladder to move is limited, so the capacity becomes smaller and frequent urination occurs. Especially in the late stages of pregnancy and during labor, the pressure increases further and incontinence may even occur. In addition, pregnant women who give birth naturally may also experience bladder prolapse. Just like the symptoms of SHE member Chen Jiahua, she suffered from postpartum "incontinence". Normal running, jumping or other strenuous exercises can lead to incontinence. Outsiders are unaware of the situation and it is difficult for the mother herself to speak out.

2. Constipation First of all, the main causes of constipation during pregnancy are: changes in hormone levels, uterus pressing on the intestines, excessive iron and calcium supplements, and insufficient dietary fiber intake. After pregnancy, due to the increase in the ratio of progesterone to estrogen, insufficient gastric acid secretion makes it impossible to completely digest the food consumed, and constipation naturally occurs. As the pregnancy progresses, the development of the fetus causes the uterus to grow larger, compressing the space for the intestines in the abdominal cavity, resulting in restricted movement of the intestines, diaphragm, and abdominal muscles. Especially in the late pregnancy, when the fetus reaches its largest size, it is more likely to cause constipation. If pregnant women take too much iron, calcium and other nutrients during pregnancy, or if they do not take enough dietary fiber in their diet, it may cause constipation. If you want to relieve constipation, you must first pay attention to the supplementation of dietary fiber in your daily life and drink more laxative drinks, such as honey and warm water. In addition, you should also eat more green vegetables, whole grains and other foods that can promote intestinal peristalsis, and finally develop the habit of daily bowel movements.

3. Hemorrhoids Anyone may suffer from hemorrhoids, and pregnant women are more likely to suffer from it. This is a vascular ball that forms in the anus due to the dilation and bending of the veins. The reason why pregnant women are at high risk of hemorrhoids is that after having a child in the uterus, a large amount of space in the abdominal cavity is occupied, which leads to increased abdominal pressure and poor blood return in the nevus veins, which mainly manifests as bleeding during bowel movements.

How to prevent hemorrhoids?

① Avoid sitting for long periods of time. Get up and walk around after sitting for a while to promote blood circulation.

② Do appropriate exercise every day, such as practicing yoga or taking a walk. You can also add some anal contraction training and health care to the exercise.

③ Develop the habit of daily bowel movements, and try not to exceed 10 minutes. Also pay attention to the intake of dietary fiber and vitamins.

The above are all difficulties that pregnant mothers need to face and solve. When they have frequent urination or defecation, they may not be able to get up smoothly because their belly is too big. Expectant fathers should try their best to help. They can also install a handle on the wall. Hemorrhoids and constipation are both difficult to talk about. If you find that pregnant mothers have corresponding symptoms, expectant fathers may as well ask and work together to find the most suitable solution.
