Which thermometer is best for measuring ovulation?

Women who are preparing for pregnancy and plan to have children can increase their chances of pregnancy by having sex during the ovulation period. This is something that many people usually know. For people with more accurate menstruation, the ovulation period can be accurately calculated by calculation. However, for people with inaccurate menstruation, they can monitor their ovulation period by measuring body temperature. But what kind of thermometer is good for measuring body temperature to monitor ovulation?

Which thermometer is best for measuring ovulation?

To measure ovulation, you can just use an ordinary thermometer to measure your body temperature. Measuring body temperature with a mercury thermometer:

1. If the mercury thermometer is not used alone, wipe it with alcohol cotton (alcohol-free cotton can be washed with cold water) and then dry it before measuring.

2. Shake the mercury in the traditional mercury thermometer to below 35 degrees.

3. Place the mercury thermometer under the armpit and clamp it tightly. Note that the mercury should be in the middle of the armpit.

4. Keep your arms clamped and do not loosen them or move around.

5. After measuring, take out the mercury thermometer to check the result and then clean it.

Electronic thermometer to measure body temperature:

The electronic thermometer can measure ear temperature and forehead temperature. The switch between ear temperature and forehead temperature measurement can be automatically switched by removing or covering the head cover. How to use an electronic thermometer to measure ear temperature - remove the head cover, press the scan button to start, insert the measuring probe into the ear canal, press the scan button once, and when you hear a "whoosh" sound, the measurement is complete. How to use an electronic thermometer to measure forehead temperature - put on the head cover, press the scan button to start, place the measuring probe flat on one temple, press and hold the scan button, and move it along the forehead to the other temple. After hearing a "beep" sound, the measurement is completed.

Infrared thermometer to measure body temperature:

1. To avoid the accuracy of the ear thermometer being affected by an overly cold or overheated environment, the ear thermometer must be placed in a general environment at room temperature (16℃~35℃) for at least 30 minutes before use to avoid incorrect measurement results.

2. The subject should stay at room temperature for at least 20 minutes to allow the body temperature to balance.

3. Avoid getting your ears wet before use and keep them clean. Accurate temperature can only be measured when there is no obstruction or excessive earwax accumulation in the ear.

4. After strenuous exercise, you should rest for at least 30 minutes before measuring.

5. Please do not measure ear temperature when you just wake up, because the temperature of the ear that is pressed will be higher than normal body temperature.

6. Usually the temperature measured between the left ear and the right ear will be slightly different, so it is recommended to measure body temperature with the same ear.

7. When performing repeated measurements, please remove the probe head between each measurement and rest for at least 5 seconds before taking the next measurement. This will allow you to obtain the most accurate measurement results.

8. The normal measurement value is about 35.5℃~37.8℃. Users should measure their body temperature more often to understand their healthy temperature. If there is any abnormality, pay attention to physical changes or ask your doctor.

9. After each measurement, clean the detection head of the TRULY infrared ear thermometer with alcohol to avoid earwax blockage affecting the measurement results, so as to ensure the accuracy of the next measurement.
