There is a pimple below which hurts a bit

If a lump grows below and it hurts a bit, it may be a symptom of vulvar inflammation, or it may be a symptom of genital warts or pseudo-warts. It is best for women to use B-ultrasound to examine it, and then choose the treatment method according to the cause of the disease. When a lump grows below and it hurts a bit, the patient should not scratch the skin with his hands. He also needs to pay attention to the hygiene of his underwear. He should not have sexual intercourse at this stage and should choose antibiotics for treatment.

Causes of vulvar acne

1. Vulvar inflammation

If you have small bumps on your vulva, you may have vulvitis, which is caused by a large amount of leucorrhea irritating the skin in the labia area. In daily life, the vulva is easily contaminated with urine, feces and leucorrhea, so the vulva skin is often in a humid environment, which is suitable for bacterial growth.

Daily care: Do not scratch; underwear should be made of cotton, loose and comfortable to avoid friction; lead a regular life, go to bed early and get up early, and exercise appropriately; quit smoking, drinking, strong tea, coffee and all spicy and irritating foods, and avoid irritating drugs.

2. Genital warts

Genital warts are a common sexually transmitted disease caused by human papillomavirus (HPV), which is usually transmitted through direct or indirect contact. The virus is inoculated into the area through minor local injuries to the skin and mucous membranes, and after a certain incubation period, cauliflower-shaped or cockscomb-shaped growths appear.

Daily care: No sexual intercourse during treatment; pay attention to diet; wear cotton underwear; underwear is best washed with mild soap.

3. Pseudo-condyloma

Pseudo-condyloma, also known as villous labia minora, is more common in women aged 20 to 30. It often appears on the mucous membrane of the inner side of the labia minora and the urethral opening, appearing as groups of fish roe-like papules or villous finger-like protrusions, with a moist, flushed and shiny surface. There is no definite answer to the cause of pseudo-condyloma acuminatum. It may be related to chronic inflammation such as vaginitis or sexual intercourse.

Daily care: Keep the local area clean and dry, and avoid friction and other stimulation to the lesions.

4. Vestibular gland cyst

Small bumps on the vulva may be Bartholin's gland cysts. The exit of the Bartholin's gland is located on the inner side of the labia minora, making it easy for bacteria to invade and cause inflammation. Generally, bacteria first invade the epithelium of the Bartholin's gland ducts, causing the mucosa to swell, or the uterine adhesions occur after the tissue at the opening of the duct is destroyed, causing the opening of the duct to be blocked, and the secretions cannot be discharged, thus forming a Bartholin's gland cyst. It is often unilateral and of varying sizes.

Daily care: rinse with potassium permanganate water; pay attention to genital hygiene; pay attention to diet.

5. Vulvitis

Another possible reason for small bumps on the vulva is vulvitis: this is caused by vaginitis caused by bacteria, mold, Trichomonas, etc., which stimulates the skin of the vulva through leucorrhea.

Daily care: pay attention to personal hygiene; regulate diet.

In summary, if you have acne in the perineum and no other discomfort, you don’t have to worry too much. Just drink more water and pay attention to local cleanliness and dryness, and it will heal slowly. If there are a large number of pimples in the perineum, the pimples are large, the swelling is severe, and there is a tendency for suppuration, you should seek medical attention promptly and receive targeted treatment.
