How to comfort a girl with stomachache

There are many reasons why girls experience abdominal pain. It may be caused by menstruation, eating the wrong thing, or abdominal bloating. Everyone should understand the reason clearly before comforting women. Most of the stomach pains among girls are caused by dysmenorrhea. The way we comfort girls is to accompany them and pay attention to their diet. We can prepare brown sugar water for them and apply warm towels to their stomachs.

What to do if a woman has stomach pain during menstruation

Many women have experienced menstrual cramps, which are caused by the violent contraction of the uterus, similar to calf cramps after fast running.

Normal menstrual cramps only last for one or two hours, or at most a day, and can be relieved by resting. However, pathological menstrual cramps may last for two or three days, so painful that you cannot move, or even go into shock.

The results of a survey conducted by the Endometriosis Association among its members showed that many women with pathological menstrual pain do not want to be women in their next life, and regard the "friend" that comes every month as a painful expectation and the "end of the world."

Treatment for abdominal pain during menstruation

Any discomfort such as abdominal pain, back pain, and dizziness during menstruation or before and after menstruation is called dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea refers to dysmenorrhea without organic disease of the pelvic cavity, which is not harmful to health. Secondary dysmenorrhea is caused by certain genital diseases, the most common of which are endometriosis, adenomyosis, submucous uterine fibroids and cervical obstruction. After examination and treatment by a doctor, if the cause is eliminated, dysmenorrhea will disappear naturally.

In addition to seeking medical treatment, patients with dysmenorrhea also need to take care of themselves on a daily basis. The principle of self-care is to improve physical fitness and increase the body's resistance. In view of this, we must pay attention to having a regular life, moderate exercise, balanced nutrition, adequate sleep and a happy mood in our daily life. It sounds easy, but have you done it?

Diet and nutritional therapy for dysmenorrhea:

People who suffer from dysmenorrhea characterized by low back and leg pain, abdominal cramps, breast swelling and cramps should eat foods rich in vitamins B1 and B2, such as brown rice, germ rice, liver, almonds, dairy products, etc., or take synergist F as a supplement of B1 and B2. For those who usually have pelvic congestion and pain in the uterus and ovaries during menstruation, it is recommended to consume more foods rich in vitamins C and E, such as yellow and green vegetables, oranges, lemons, walnuts, almonds, wheat germ, etc. to improve pelvic blood circulation and relieve the pain of pelvic congestion.

As for those who experience pain in the entire abdomen during menstruation, they should pay special attention to their diet and nutrition on a daily basis, eat less raw, cold and greasy food, and regulate their stomach and intestines with vitamin B complex, yogurt, and table flour. People who suffer from dysmenorrhea due to anemia often experience dizziness, tinnitus, and persistent abdominal pain during menstruation. They can supplement with iron, dark green vegetables, or occasionally drink some brandy, and the dysmenorrhea can gradually improve.

Physical therapy for abdominal pain during menstruation:

When suffering from dysmenorrhea, some people find that applying a hot water bottle to the abdomen can relieve pain. People with this constitution can take more hot springs or hot water baths on weekdays, each time for about an hour. While taking a bath, they can also massage the area near the navel (about the width of the palm), which has a good effect on improving pelvic blood circulation and eliminating blood stasis (congestion). However, it is not suitable to take a bath during menstruation. At this time, you can press the area two horizontal fingers below the navel (this is the Zhongji point) with your thumb. Generally, pressing for ten to twenty minutes can reduce or eliminate dysmenorrhea.

Simple herbal tea remedy:

When dysmenorrhea is accompanied by cold limbs, pale face and lips, you can boil equal amounts of ginger (or dried ginger), jujube, and brown sugar into a warm soup and drink it. If the dysmenorrhea is severe and the patient obviously refuses to receive massage, you can take three grams of Sichuan safflower, brew it with three hundred cc of hot water and drink it as tea, once or twice a day. This can eliminate the discomfort caused by blood stasis.

Delicious food supplements:

For those who suffer from dysmenorrhea and feel cold in the abdomen or like hot compresses, you can stew half a pound of mutton, five cents each of angelica and ginger, and cinnamon as appropriate; for those who suffer from dysmenorrhea accompanied by light blood, dizziness, and soreness of the waist and knees, you can stew two cents of angelica, one ounce of astragalus, a quarter of a chicken or four ounces of ribs, and half a milkfish.

As for persistent menstrual pain accompanied by a feeling of emptiness and heaviness in the lower abdomen, you can stew a quarter of a chicken with Shengyu Soup (2 qian of Korean ginseng, 4 qian of Astragalus, 3 qian of Chinese angelica, 1.5 qian of Chuanxiong, 3 qian of Rehmannia, and 3 qian of White Peony), which is very delicious.
