Internal examination bleeding

Internal examination bleeding

If vaginal bleeding is found after internal examination, it will cause some gynecological diseases, the most common of which is vaginal infection, which will lead to vaginitis over time. Therefore, you must find a suitable treatment method as soon as possible when this happens. You must take medicine only after a complete examination. Do not use medicine rashly, because the treatment of gynecological diseases is relatively complicated and takes a long time.

On the day of a routine gynecological examination, you should wear clothes that are convenient for the examination. A skirt of moderate length is the best choice.

The examination should be done away from the menstrual period, and it is best to choose the period between the end of menstruation and before ovulation.

You should take a shower the night before a routine gynecological examination. You should not wash the inside of the vagina within 24 hours before the examination, as this will wash away abnormal secretions and some potential cancer cells that may be detected through biopsy, affecting the doctor's correct diagnosis.

Do not have sex the night before the examination, because the man's semen and the spermicide on the condom may appear in the test sample the next day and interfere with the doctor's judgment.

Do not use any vaginal medications the night before a routine gynecological examination. Any medications for treating vaginal infections or lubricants will affect the test samples, cover abnormal cells, and affect the test results. The leucorrhea sample should be sent for examination immediately after being collected by the gynecologist without delay.

Preparation before gynecological examination. You need to find out which day the gynecologist you want to see is available, whether he or she has outpatient clinics in the morning or afternoon, and be sure to remember the days when your menstruation ended in the past three months. Keep a notebook in your bag and record the date, content, and doctor's instructions of the examination. Try not to go for a gynecological examination during menstruation. Ensure personal hygiene before the examination. You can take a shower, but do not rinse the vagina within 24 hours to avoid washing away abnormal secretions. Also, if you feel the urge to urinate before the test, be sure to go to the bathroom. A full bladder can interfere with the examination.

Check whether the fallopian tubes are unobstructed, mainly used for infertility. Gas (CO2) or liquid is slowly injected into the uterine cavity through the cervix to observe whether it can pass through the fallopian tube. The former is called fallopian tube ventilation, and the latter is called fallopian tube hydrotubation. During the laparoscopic examination, methylene blue solution is injected into the uterine cavity through the cervix, and the outflow of blue liquid from the fimbria of the fallopian tube is observed under direct vision. This method is simpler and more accurate, and is called the fallopian tube pigment method.

Hysterosalpingography is a procedure in which contrast agents are injected into the uterine cavity to visualize the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes. In addition to understanding whether the fallopian tubes are unobstructed, it can also display the shape, length, direction, and obstructed areas of the fallopian tubes. It can also observe the size, shape, and presence of deformities or space-occupying lesions in the uterine cavity.
